The justice system is broken— designed to punish, not rehabilitate. It chooses who gets a second chance and who gets buried under life sentences, no matter how much they’ve changed.

That’s why I took on The Mundane Truth—a documentary that dives deep into the case of Kenneth “Supreme” McGriff, a man given 8 life sentences when he was on the verge of turning his life around. The system wouldn’t let him move forward, proving once again how it holds certain people hostage to their past.

This film isn’t just about Supreme-it’s about the truth behind how justice is served in America. It’s about the patterns, the biases, and the consequences of a system that refuses to see people as more than their worst moments.

I’m excited to direct and produce this project alongside executive producer Mike Tyson, a man who knows firsthand what it means to be judged beyond the headlines. And this is also one of the final projects from the late, great Irv Gotti-a visionary who always fought to tell the real, unfiltered stories of our culture.

With Queens legend Gerald “Prince” Miller also executive producing, we’re making sure The Mundane Truth is told the way it should be.
