ORANGE AND LEMONS RIDES GLOBAL WAVE OF SUCCESS EIGHT YEARS INTO THEIR SECOND WIND
Beloved OPM Band Gains Global Momentum with International Tours and Fresh Releases Since 2017 Comeback
June 2025 – New York, USA— Eight years after quietly reuniting in 2017, Filipino alternative-pop band Orange and Lemons is riding a new wave of musical success—this time with a global reach. Known for their poetic lyricism and signature sound that defined the 2000s OPM scene, the band continues to prove that timeless music only gets better with age.
“We didn’t need a loud comeback—we simply kept creating, and the music found its way,” shares frontman Clem Castro. “We’ve evolved, but we’re still deeply rooted in what Orange and Lemons has always stood for: honesty, melody, and soul.”
With hits like “Hanggang Kailan,” “Heaven Knows (This Angel Has Flown),” and “Just Like a Splendid Love Song,” the band left an indelible mark on Filipino music in the early 2000s. Since reuniting in 2017, Orange and Lemons has released new material, reconnected with their loyal fanbase, and built a strong independent presence in the local and international scenes.
Now, in 2025, their momentum is louder than ever. Following a string of sold-out shows in Canada, New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, the band is expanding their reach beyond borders—proving that their music transcends time and geography.
“Touring internationally gave us a deeper connection with our global fans,” Clem reflects. “It’s one thing to see your music streamed—it’s another thing to hear them sing along in a different city, in a different time zone.”
Orange and Lemons is currently working on new collaborations and fresh material for an upcoming album. Their music remains a rich blend of retro charm, lyrical depth, and pop-rock sensibility—with themes that now reflect maturity, growth, and resilience.
“We’re not just chasing a comeback story—we’re living our second wind,” says the band. “It’s not about reliving the past; it’s about continuing the journey with deeper purpose and connection.”
As they continue to share their craft across continents, Orange and Lemons remains one of the most enduring names in OPM—living proof that true artistry only grows stronger with time.
