‘Time Heals Everything’ is the 5th studio album from Blu & Exile, a duo that 1st connected in 2007 & has spent nearly 2 decades refining a chemistry that continues to evolve. The 10-track LP follows 2024’s ‘Love (the) Ominous World’ & leans deeper into their core strengths: soul-forward production, incisive writing, & left-field choices that feel instinctive rather than experimental.

The album opens with “Soul Unusual,” a mission statement that builds on the lineage of “Soul Provider” & “Soul Amazing,” reframed through Blu’s present-day perspective, setting the tone for a project rooted in refinement & intention.

“Crumbs” pairs Blu with Rome Streetz & ICECOLDBISHOP on a golden era-inspired backdrop, taking aim at the ‘crumbs’ people are expected to accept from corrupt systems of power. The track underscores one of the album’s central themes: clarity through experience, & the perspective that comes with time.

‘Time Heals Everything’ finds Blu & Exile honoring their foundation while continuing to push forward, proving once again that soul & risk-taking can coexist without compromise.

MTN LION - ‘Stealth’ - The debut album by MTN LION, a Denver-based funk quartet comprising drummer Adam Deitch & guitarist Adam “Shmeeans” Smirnoff of Lettuce, alongside keyboardist Joey Porter & bassist Garrett Sayers of The Motet. Recorded in 2020 & 2021 when touring stopped & all 4 were in Denver, the album grew from informal sessions built on decades of shared history.

Diamond Ortiz - ‘Handclaps’ - Diamond Ortiz & Funk Freaks team up on ‘Handclaps,’ a 4-track EP of classic G-funk & talk box soul in the Roger Troutman/Zapp tradition with a modern edge. Pressed to 500 numbered white label 12” vinyl with instrumentals on the flip - built for DJs & collectors alike.

The cinematic production of Dirty Art Club takes center stage on ‘A Spyglass to One’s Face’ (Instrumentals), presenting the acclaimed collab album with YUNGMORPHEUS from an entirely new perspective.

With the vocals removed, the record puts the full depth of Dirty Art Club’s production into focus: dusty drums, hypnotic loops, warped samples & richly layered textures drawing from psychedelia, jazz & soul. What originally provided the backdrop for YUNGMORPHEUS’ sharp-eyed lyricism now stands firmly on its own, revealing the details, transitions & atmosphere woven throughout the album.

More than simply a companion to the original, ‘A Spyglass to One’s Face’ (Instrumentals) offers a deeper look into the sonic world behind the record & showcases Dirty Art Club’s distinctive production from front to back. Available on vinyl for the first time, this FatBeats & Get On Down excl. is ltd. to just 350 copies, pressed on Coke Bottle Clear vinyl & housed in a reverse-board jacket.

‘Crossfade Chronicles’ is a top-tier battle weapon produced by 30-year hip hop veteran DJ HollanDAZE. Packed with never-before-used golden era vocal samples & custom-designed original sound effects, Daze put all of his hip hop knowledge & musical sensibilities into crafting a precision scratch tool that turntablists are sure to love. Mixed, mastered, & pressed by heavyweights in the scratch vinyl community, this record is designed & manufactured for performance.

HollanDAZE (formerly DJ Daze) has been in the DJ game since the mid 90s. In addition to rocking clubs across NYC & the Bay Area, & spinning alongside legends like Tony Touch & Bobbito Garcia, he has been providing scratches for hip hop artists for 3 decades. He got his start with The High & Mighty on Rawkus & Eastern Conference Records, & has since supplied cuts on projects featuring KRS-ONE, Del the Funky Homosapien, Eminem, Mos Def, & RJ Payne, among others, & on the classic Lyricist Lounge Volume 1.

A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the Beats Rhymes & Life hip hop therapy program for youth, where Daze served as a board member/DJ instructor.

Blue 7” vinyl contains 12 skipless scratch phrases, golden era samples & original sound FX while the black 12” vinyl contains 24.

‘Dig, Sample, Chop, Sequence’ is the latest instrumental album from veteran producer J Rawls. Known for his signature blend of Hip Hop & jazzy beats, & fresh off recent Javotti releases including ‘The Confidence of Knowing’ with Talib Kweli, ‘Midnight Angel’ with Solene Velvet, & ‘The Optimist’s Son’ with Niko IS, Rawls returns to his roots. While his signature style has put him in a category alongside peers like Fat Jon, Nujabes, & others from the early 2000s underground scene, Rawls is often credited as a forefather of LoFi Hip Hop. This project stands as his ode to the craft of making Hip Hop music. Though many would call these “LoFi beats,” Rawls simply says, “We just call it Hip Hop.”

The album is also framed by the final recorded interview of Rawls’ lifelong friend, DJ Buka, who recently passed away. While the conversation tells Buka’s story & love for Hip Hop, it also mirrors Rawls’ own journey. Through interludes built from the interview, the parallels between their lives emerge, two friends who discovered Hip Hop together & shared its joy from childhood to adulthood.
