x x present SALSA SOUND CLASH: “Asalto Navideño” Edition!

Originally released in 1970 (55 years ago) by Willie Colón & Héctor Lavoe on the legendary Fania Records label, Asalto Navideño was an instant classic.
Just in time for the holidays, it’s now available on vinyl for the first time since the ’70s!

We’ll be giving out Fania merch & records throughout the night, plus:
Live vinyl DJs, live rumba y parranda, and of course—live art!

Schedule:
• 7 PM — Doors Open / Live Vinyl DJ
• 8 PM — Reel-to-Reel Analog Listening Session: Asalto Navideño
• 9 PM — Parranda Starts
• 10 PM — Salsa Sound Clash

Fania celebrates indie record stores with the exclusive reissue of ’s Together — a late-60s cornerstone where Latin jazz, boogaloo, Afro-Cuban rhythms and salsa collide.

Featuring an all-star lineup including Adalberto Santiago, Andy Gonzalez and Orestes Vilato, this album captures Barretto at his creative peak with highlights like “Vive y Vacila” and Tin Tin Deo.”

AAA lacquers cut from the original master tapes, pressed on 180-gram black vinyl and housed in a single-pocket paper-wrapped jacket. Available only at participating indie record stores. Find one near you!
