Dear Friends and Fans of Que Bajo?!,
On November 4th 2008, Geko Jones and Uproot Andy hosted the first Que Bajo party. For almost a decade since, we've been proud to become the premier NYC platform for new electronic dance music coming out of the Latin diaspora.
Over the past 9 years, we’ve hosted incredible events and seen thousands of people sing along and lose themselves on our dancefloors. We've performed in cities across the globe and have been honored to be named as inspiration for like-minded parties.
Last year, we welcomed resident DJ Riobamba and co-producer Chiquita Brujita to the crew and had a banner year with some of our best events ever. Our final party in NYC was hosted on a frigid Friday in January and attended by over 1k fans.
We have had a fantastic run and could not be more proud of our work together.
With all that's been achieved, we've decided it's time to move in other directions and will no longer be hosting Que Bajo?! as a monthly party in NYC. This is not the end but rather a way for us to continue to evolve and grow.
Fortunately, all of our individual projects will keep you covered. Please do stay in touch with all of us via social media.

RIOBAMBA_dj launched her label APOCALIPSIS to continue to provide a platform for innovative Latinx artists in addition to her incisive music journalism, and active DJ and production work.
Geko Jones and Chiquita Brujita will continue hosting tropical dance parties, concerts, and experiences as Ministerio de la Parranda. Be sure to catch the next one in Brooklyn on June 24th. Tix are on sale via wepahouse.eventbrite.com.
