It's amazing that we've come this far and have reached $150k with almost 400 investors on board with the movie. Moving forward with this film is a lot of hard work, but I couldn't be more excited as we put together our plan and actually get to make it happen. Making A Movie During The Pandemic Was Interesting To Say The Least

If you've been following our updates on https://www.startengine.com/an-angry-boy and on the Angry Boy page then you probably know that I was just up in the western part of Massachusetts filming a movie called CRYPTID, directed by Brad Rego. It was an amazing project to work on and one of the best parts about it was that since we're so close to when we plan to get An Angry Boy into production, it really got the juices flowing for me. There were some great things that happened as well as challenges we faced, and all the knowledge from that shoot will be utilized into making An Angry Boy all that much better which is really exciting.

The other great thing that came out of it is that despite the ongoing pandemic, we know that we can go out there and are able to make a great film! The cast and crew get tested, you have a dedicated Covid specialist on set, you sanitize, do the work for the day and then go back to your motel and everyone really can come out the other end without any Covid!

(Location: Sweet Farm Road, Williamstown MA - One of the cooler shots from the film, this was a single shot of the main character, MAX, played by Nicholas Baroudi pulling up to a crime scene and having an interesting conversation with the SHERIFF, played by Chopper Bernet)

(Location: Bridge Street, Shelburne Falls, MA - Actor Kevin O'Rourke who plays DARREN in the movie talks to our main characters MAX and HARRIETT, played by Ellen Adair. In this scene he tells them about a scary incident that happened to him recently involving the creature. Kevin is an amazing actor who you probably recognize from Boardwalk Empire, The Irishman, Blue Bloods and a ton of other great projects. He was really fun to work and definitely brought something unique to the character.)

(Location - Woods in Williamstown, MA - We spent a lot of late nights in the woods and this is one of them. In this scene four characters are on the hunt for the creature. We had the rain machine going, hooked up to a fire hydrant curtesy of the Williamstown Fire Department. You have to make sure everything stays dry so the mic is covered in plastic, the camera covered with a panel, the map is laminated and all the actors are wearing wet suits under their outfits.
