💰 What is the ROI of our WindTree systems? There is no one-size-fits-all figure. And that’s a good thing. The return on investment depends on several factors:

⚡ the installation’s actual output
💶 the price of the electricity saved
🔧 installation and maintenance costs
🏢 the building’s energy requirements

🌬️ 2.5 m/s. Why is this number significant? This is the wind speed at which the Aeroleaf begins to generate electricity. 👉 2.5 m/s = 9 km/h. This is particularly useful for harnessing light, irregular, or turbulent winds, especially near buildings.

Of course, starting to generate electricity doesn’t mean generating at full capacity: output depends on site conditions. But that’s precisely the goal: to harness the wind as soon as it’s available.
