🙂Devin Oktar Yalkin is a Turkish-Armenian-American photographer whose black-and-white images explore memory, displacement, and the quiet emotional weight of human connection. Based in Los Angeles and born in New York City, his work merges documentary sensibilities with poetic realism, often using light and shadow to evoke a sense of presence and absence.
Yalkin’s photographs have appeared on the covers of The New York Times Magazine and in major publications worldwide. His work is held in the permanent collections of Istanbul Modern and the Toledo Museum of Art, and he is represented by Evin Art Gallery in Istanbul. His upcoming photobook, Alone Together, is a visual elegy on family, love, and the impermanence of home.
