Please save the date for the NYC African Council's Innaugural Leadership Awards Gala.

Venue: Al Hambra, Harlem

This will be an amazing day to celebrate the organization's work and leaders in the African community.

There will be so many special guests, honorees and elected officials.

Everyone should plan to attend and bring guests with them.

Congo Week in Harlem 🇨🇩✨
This Sunday, October 19th, 2025, the African Center (110th Street & 5th Avenue, Harlem NYC) hosted a vibrant celebration of Congo (RDC) culture and roots!

Hundreds of Congolese and friends gathered to honor the richness of Congo through music, film, and performance. A captivating documentary was presented to the public, followed by exciting live performances that lit up the evening.

Of course, you can’t talk about Congo music in New York City without mentioning Nkumu Katalay, who brought his unmatched energy to the stage, along with Lubangi Muniania of NJ — the master of the scene — and Alex B (AfroMondo producer) who added his creative touch to the celebration.

🇨🇩 Congo Week à Harlem ✨
Ce dimanche 19 octobre 2025, le Centre Africain (situé à l’angle de la 110e rue et de la 5e avenue à Harlem, New York) a accueilli une magnifique célébration de la culture et des racines congolaises (RDC) !

Des centaines de Congolais et d’amis se sont réunis pour honorer la richesse culturelle du Congo à travers la musique, le film et la performance. Un documentaire captivant a été projeté au public, suivi de prestations artistiques qui ont fait vibrer la salle.

À New York, on ne peut pas parler de musique congolaise sans évoquer Nkumu Katalay, présent pour enflammer la scène, aux côtés de Lubangi Muniania du New Jersey, véritable maître de cérémonie, et du talentueux Alex B (producteur AfroMondo), qui a apporté sa touche artistique à l’événement.

Lancement du RHDP à New York 🇨🇮✨

Ce dimanche 12 octobre 2025, s’est tenu à New York le lancement officiel de la campagne présidentielle du RHDP (Rassemblement des Houphouëtistes pour la Démocratie et la Paix).
Cette cérémonie de grande importance a réuni plusieurs personnalités ivoiriennes et amis de la Côte d’Ivoire dans une ambiance à la fois solennelle et fraternelle.

Parmi les invités d’honneur figuraient :
• Son Excellence Monsieur Kacou Adom, Ministre des Affaires Étrangères ;
• Monsieur Inza Camara, Consul Général de Côte d’Ivoire à New York ;
• Son Excellence l’Ambassadeur de Côte d’Ivoire aux États-Unis.

La rencontre a également enregistré la participation de nombreux ressortissants ivoiriens, de représentants d’associations communautaires, ainsi que de partenaires et amis du RHDP.
Ce lancement marque une étape importante dans la mobilisation de la diaspora ivoirienne pour la paix, la cohésion et le développement, valeurs chères au Président Félix Houphouët-Boigny et portées aujourd’hui par le RHDP. 🇨🇮🤝
Un repas a ete servi aux participants!
La cérémonie a pris fin aux environs de 19 heures sous une forte pluie.
