My landlord is charging me $150 to change an outlet. I would appreciate feedback from electricians: after fixing a leaky shower head, my landlord invoiced me $150, stating that the bathroom outlet was not installed by them and is not GFCI certified, leading to high electricity usage. Is this a valid charge?

Had my range hood vented today, cut some of a stud
Hello! Had contractors come and vent my hood today since it wasn’t originally done. They cut some of a stud (exterior load bearing wall ) and the technician doing the job said it was fine.. I did send a message to the owner to see if he agrees but I need some internet help!

Please ignore the ridiculous wiring, another thing the original idiot builders did..

To me, it doesn’t look that bad… since it’s still connected and there are SO many other studs (mildly /s but still don’t think it would matter that much. ) ideas?!

Ok let’s see if yall super techs or super hacks. Client complains the centeral air unit is not working. The contactor on the condenser is rapidly pulling in and out. Contactor is replaced due to visible damages, but still the same issue. There is 28v to the contactor coil. Push contactor in to test pressure and operating pressure is normal. There’s no float switch or any flood detectors on air handler. What could be the problem?
