Business Plan

ODAH put in place a point of sale of Haitian products made by mainstream artists for people who want to contribute to the organization. The money goes back to the hands of the artist with a small percentage to the organization project's budget.
At www.shop.odahinc.org you will find good quality products and items such as paintings, house wares, decorative items etc.

This series of activities help also ODAH to generate funds to run its sponsorship program for children. This program is dedicated to bring hope for a child living in poverty by providing psychological support and financial help in a daily basis for sustainable access to nutritious foods, basic healthcare, and education.

This program is operated in two different geographic departments and three cities such as: Port au Prince and Arcahaie situated in the west part of Haiti and Miragoane located in the south which is called Nippes department. At this stage, the program contains a total of 1500 children chosen in function of certain criteria.

ODAH also got involved in distribution of tools, distribution of material to support the farmers initiative in forming cooperative group which will conduct business with different entities in the communities at the benefit of the communities.

Goals and Objectives

To work with government agencies and other organizations to ensure that farmers have access to the technologies required to support modern agriculture practices. We will educate the farmers by developing adult education method to teach them the basic reading and writing Creole.
To provide the farmers with tools and resources to make farming more sustainable. We will assist them in use new technologies for innovation like conservation tillage to prevent land loss to erosion and water pollution.
To encourage farmers to stay in their homeland, to stop migration, so that they can work to provide supply of food that meet the demands of a growing population.
To build schools well equipped with library, horticulture spacing, medical laboratories. ODAH, in the next 5 years will build 3 schools in different geographic departments.
To implement an orphanage program in targeted areas, then will be spread throughout Haitian communities.

Strategic Planning

ODAH is dedicated to develop a comprehensive model and a new approach of agriculture in Haiti that take in evidence the growth of national production and the farmer's needs by creating a pathway to processing, distributing, and marketing the higher quality products throughout the United States.

The organization will intervene in all activities that aim to develop the farming environment and to facilitate the economic and social emergence of the most underprivileged layers.



ODAH will plan a series of education programs dedicated to the youth population in different aspects of civic education, health, agriculture, protection of the environment and water management.The goal of these programs is to teach them about the notion of horticulture and agriculture model and practice in Haiti compare to other countries in the African continent or elsewhere in order to assist Haitian farmers who left behind in the development of technology of farming and the domain of modern agriculture.

ODAH believes in education, transformation, and action as leitmotiv for a sustainable development in Haiti. The organization is planning on generating financial and material resources to help Haitian farmers and their families to function in a well sustainable environment. The organization is well organized and operated by a board of directors, officers, program coordinators, employees, and consultants. ODAH is committed to provide excellent services with diversity, honesty, and integrity. Although ODAH headquarter is located in the US, its method of functional authority on the ground allow the organization to make tough decisions that respond to immediate needs of the people.

LEARN ABOUT ODAH SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM



The sponsorship program is a program that ODAH has put in place to bring hope to children in poverty in Haiti. This program will bring psychological support and financial help on a daily basis for a sustainable access to nutritious food, basic healthcare, and education.

The goal of the program is to offer scholarship to children from three (3) to fourteen (14) years old, (Kindergarten to eighth grade) It covers the cost of tuition fees, school materials, furniture, and food assistance. The program will continue to sponsor these children as long as they display commitment and academic success.

This program is operated in two different geographic departments and three cities Port au Prince and Archaie situated in the West part of Haiti and Miragoane located in the South which called Nippes department. At this stage, the program contains a total of 1500 children who were chosen according to certain criteria.

Your support is important to us and together we will make changes in these children lives. If you decide to become a sponsor, you will be given the opportunity to stay in connection with your sponsored child by using appropriate technology, such as videos to monitor your child’s progress. You will be able to see your child’s records from school electronically via the internet administrated by ODAH’s cyber café.

ODAH is also looking for individuals to donate whatever they can, in order to make a difference in these children’s lives.

In order to raise money for this program and other programs, ODAH has opened an online store. The store sells various types of Haitian art products. These products are made by Haitian artists.

When you buy a product from the store, it will not help ODAH with his programs or projects, but it will also help these artists.

In the last few decades, Haiti's agriculture has lagged in its ability to increase sufficient gains in production because of lack of fertilizer, poor soil management, and deforestation, lack of water, tools, landownership, livestock production and lack of management. This situation has a tremendous impact in the sphere social, economic of Haiti. Most peasants are forced to leave their homeland to look for a better life in other parts of the country.

ODAH puts a series of educational programs dedicated to the Haitian peasants. The program will teach them the notion of horticulture and agriculture model and practices in Haiti compare to other countries in the African continent or elsewhere. They will bring the Haitian peasant to date with the development of technology of farming and the domain of modern agriculture.

ODAH is dedicated to develop a comprehensive model and a new approach of agriculture in Haiti. This approach will take in evidence the growth of national production and the peasant’s needs. It will create a pathway to processing, distributing, and marketing to the highest quality products throughout the United Sates.

ODAH will collaborate with other organizations and will initiate its effort to assist communities in the process of a development of agricultural sector with an additional goal of alleviating malnutrition and hunger.

The organization will intervene in all activities that aim to develop the farming environment and to facilitate the economic and social emergence of the most underprivileged layers.

There are so many people around the world that live in poverty and need immediate help. It is fortunate thousands of charitable organizations and individuals that are willing to give their time and invest their money to help these people to survive. However, considering the complexity of the issue of poverty and the amount of people that are being disfranchised, the work of these organizations need to be significantly seen as an effort to make a difference in the world.

There are so many people around the world that live in poverty and need immediate help. Fortunately there are thousands of charitable organizations as well as individuals willing to give their time and invest their money to help them to survive.
Considering the complexity of disenfranchisement and people suffering, the work of these organizations need to be significantly seen as an effort to make a difference in the world.
ODAH believes the urgency of time is now and so you have an important role in changing the lives of those less fortunate therefore joins the cause to end poverty all over the world. We urge you to become an advocate for the people of Haiti and share our vision for prosperous country.
