Thinking back to my serving days is so crazy because what do you mean the servers were getting catcalled 24/7 by the LINECOOKS and all of the BOH staff? I mean like yea make me some free fries im down hahahaha, to be honest tho they were the sweetest when they werenā€™t insane šŸ«¶

When it comes to men and their tools, there is absolutely no reasoning with them. I could be lying on the ground with all four limbs broken, but if his favorite drill hit the floor too, I already know whoā€™s getting the emergency attention first. Somehow heā€™ll be inspecting every little scratch on that thing before he even asks if Iā€™m okay. I guess itā€™s kind of sweet that he takes such good care of the things he ownsā€¦ but maybe check on me first? At this point, Iā€™m convinced Iā€™m competing with a toolbox for second place. I canā€™t even be mad because itā€™s so ridiculously predictable.

Moms are honestly the biggest challenge when youā€™re trying to eat healthy and maintain your physique. One day youā€™re explaining to them why youā€™re tracking your food and trying to make healthier choices, and the very next day theyā€™re pulling out every homemade meal and dessert you grew up loving. Somehow they always know exactly what your favorite comfort foods are too. Saying no feels almost impossible because you know they made it with love. I swear moms have a superpower when it comes to convincing you that just ā€œone more biteā€ wonā€™t hurt. If youā€™re trying to stay on track, visiting your mom is basically the ultimate test of self-control.

Every girl I know seems to go through this exact phase whenever she has a crush. Itā€™s the ā€œobvious denialā€ stage where sheā€™ll swear up and down that she doesnā€™t even like him. Meanwhile, sheā€™s checking her phone every five minutes and magically replying the second his text comes through. We all know exactly whatā€™s happening, but somehow everyone insists theyā€™re ā€œjust being nice.ā€ I totally get the game weā€™re all playingā€”I just wish weā€™d admit it every once in a while because nobody is fooling anybody. Itā€™s honestly one of the funniest parts of having a crush.

No matter how early I go to bed, how much melatonin I take, or how many tricks I try, I just canā€™t seem to stick to a good sleeping schedule. I tell myself tonight will be different, that Iā€™ll finally wake up feeling refreshed and in control. But somehow, I always end up sleeping through my alarms like they were never even there. Then comes that familiar wave of guilt and sadness, wondering why something so simple feels so impossible. It makes me feel like Iā€™m missing whatever it is that lets everyone else build a strong, consistent morning routine.
