The Regret (2023): a mini story for a mini zine.

Background:
When I first got into making zines in 2023, I started with a series of single-sheet experiments. I typed each story directly onto copy paper using my 1950s Smith-Corona Silent-Super typewriter (a generous gift from one of my subscribers).

I did my best to line up the text by eye before folding the sheet into its final format.

One can see their work published in all kinds of formats over the years and still beam at the simple mechanics of a single-sheet zine come to life.
