πŸ”₯ This is Not a Hummingbird β€” This is the BEE HAWK-MOTH 😲
At first glance, you’d swear this little creature was a hummingbird darting from flower to flower… but it’s actually a moth!
The Bee Hawk-Moth hovers in the air just like a hummingbird, with fast, buzzing wings.
Its fuzzy body and black-and-yellow stripes make it look like a bee, while its flight makes people mistake it for a bird.
✨ Fun fact: These moths can beat their wings up to 85 times per second.

Rainbow-bearded Thornbill ~

One of my favorite moments from my recent trip to Ecuador. I have wanted to see this bird for many years and thanks to my fellow Tropical Birding Tours guides and friends Sam Woods and Jose Illanes I got one heck of a look and an amazing photo opportunity.

Can't begin to thank those two enough 😎

I read the other day that our beautiful little robin became Britain’s bird of Christmas largely because Victorian postmen, who wore red tunic, were known as robin redbreasts ❀️
Robins then began to appear on Christmas cards and other festivities as a symbol of the red breasted messenger..
well I never knew that ❀️πŸ₯°β€οΈ
Another of my favourite pictures was this little one ❀️ he clearly needs red little welly boots 😊πŸ₯°β€οΈ
