Just some of the taxidermy bike seats I’ve made for decor at work. I’m opening my own bike shop starting Wednesday and everything in there was hand built by me with upcycled materials. Expect to see a lot more as I continue to get set up.

I thought you guys might like this outfit I made!
It was for Dress for Success's Fundraiser, Recycle the Runway!
We had to create an outfit out of a garbage bag of unwanted clothing items.
Most of the fabric I had to dye, which was a learning curve with fabrics, colors, and textures. Each Petal was cut out, then sewn together, And Then sewn together to make this dress. This was the most difficult/tedious, but favorite design I've created!

This is our old stone farmhouse. When I got it in 2004 is was a dilapidated mess, inside and outside. I will show you some of the oldest part of it today. It was built in the 1780s.
This is the first room one enters through the front door. For years, it had no real purpose except as the room to pass through to get to the rest of the house. Two years ago, my partner, Jim, and I turned it into the Drunken Mermaid Pub. I am almost ashamed to say we spend lots of time there now!

My mother made this table, and a few other things, when I was four years old. I’ve had it for years but my husband left it outside in the weather when we lived in Palm Springs so it was in pretty bad shape. I sanded it down, repainted the body and stained the top dark. When I asked her why her k***s weren’t all centered she said the instructor wanted to leave and said, “just finish it” 😂 I straightened the k***s and sanded the gold paint off the legs and left them the bare galvanized metal. My mother, who is almost 92 now, loves it and said I did a good job of centering the k***s.

I made my first lampshade from film slides. Now just need more slides!
Need a taller lamp. Just used this one because it fit. Make sure you use a non hot bulb like an led bulb.
