“In the garden’s mist, under a brooding sky, he stood silent. The world was hushed, the art within the museum behind him a distant whisper. The grass was wet underfoot, and the air was thick with the promise of rain. It was a moment caught between light and shadow, where everything seemed to pause.“
🌟✨ From May 19 to August 11, 2024, the Fondation Beyeler will transform into a living organism of contemporary art. For the first time in over 25 years, the entire museum and its park will host the experimental “HOME OF THE STRANGER” exhibition.
Featuring works by Michael Armitage, Anne Boyer, Federico Campagna, Ian Cheng, and many more, this unique presentation will evolve throughout its duration. The exhibition includes site-specific creations and adapted versions of existing works, forming a dialogue with pieces from the museum’s collection.
Don’t miss this extraordinary experience, conceived by Sam Keller, Mouna Mekouar, Isabela Mora, Hans Ulrich Obrist, Precious Okoyomon, Philippe Parreno, and Tino Sehgal, in collaboration with LUMA Foundation.
📅 Mark your calendars and join us for a summer of transformation and artistic exploration.
