People’s movement not be stopped by mass arrest and filling fake cases: Dr. Muhammad Rezaul Karim

Jamaat held demonstration at Rampura

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North secretary and member of central working committee Dr. Muhammad Rezaul Karim urged the government to immediately release all imprisoned leaders-activists including Ameer-e-Jamaat Dr. Shafiqur Rahman by showing respect to democracy and democratic values. City secretary also called upon the ruling government to make a level playing field for holding a free, fair, credible and participatory election.

He today Wednesday said these as the chief guest while addressing at a pro-demonstration rally in Rampura. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North held the demonstration as the part of central program. The demonstration was begun from east Rampura. Demonstrators moved various important roads of the city. It was ended at Abul Hotel area through a short rally. MAhfuzur Rahman, member of central Mojlish-e-Shura and assistant secretary of Jamaat Dhaka City North, Nazim Uddin Mollah, Dr. Fakharuddin Manik, Ziaul Hasan, Maulana Muhibullah, Jamal Uddin, Muhammad Ataur Rahman Sarker, member of working committee of Jamaat Dhaka City North, Nasir Uddin and others were also present in the demonstration.

“Being detached from international community, the government is trying to protect its illegal power by capturing selfie. They are using police force to suppress ongoing movement. The government is involved in enforced disappearance, extra-judicial killing and abduction to stop opposition voice,” Jamaat leader added.

“People’s movement cannot be stopped by mass arrest, filling fake cases and shooting at and the government cannot be saved themselves by capturing selfies,” Muhammad Rezaul Karim added.
He called upon the government to return the disappeared to their relatives.

International Literacy Day'23 was celebrated by the initiative of YBF.

International Literacy Day'23 was celebrated by Youth for Better Future Society. On Friday (September 8) at 2 pm, educational materials were distributed among the children of YBF dropout school in Uttara.

In the speech given by the chief guest, Abdur Rahim stated that education is the foundation of the nation. Without education, it is impossible for any nation to progress. Illiteracy is the scourge of a nation. Obstacles that prevent progress. Despite the fact that illiteracy is a problem, it is not permanent. The collective efforts of all can make it possible to overcome this problem in a short span of time. YBF has been working towards building beautiful, happy, and prosperous Nation since it was founded and has persevered despite all the odds.

He also said that many countries of the world are moving forward every day with educated and qualified citizens. Success is constantly opening new doors. But despite having hundreds of possibilities, we are far behind. One of the reasons is that a large part of the population is still illiterate. Even though the organizations responsible for eliminating unemployment claim to be successful, the actual situation is deplorable. The prospect of eradicating illiteracy quickly in the near future is also unlikely. So YBF will not wait for anyone. The country is ours, the people are ours, so it is everyone's responsibility. If we sincerely try to eliminate illiteracy from every position, then it is possible to free the nation from the trap of illiteracy in a short span of time. In this case, if the student society plays a leading role, it will become easier to achieve the goal.

He also said that today's children are the future of tomorrow. YBF will make every effort to develop them as human resources suitable for the fourth industrial revolution.
