Why you should pledge money
to support M’Sai Productions
It is probably a very good idea to question the prospect of giving ones hard-earned money to a group of artists whose sole purpose in life is to create beauty and to achieve a level of honesty and integrity in their art. To some, this might seem a bit whimsical, perhaps innocuous, and even frivolous.
Yet to those who strive for such things as love, harmony, and beauty through their art, there can be no higher purpose. For the rest of humanity, there can be no greater gift than to be inspired by these artists whose work might force us to question the everyday values which we have come to rely upon.
Surely, the politician has his place, and we invest a great deal of our lives in supporting those politics and politicians who claim to fight for the greater good. But equally as important are the great works of art that remind us to appreciate all the wonderful aspects of this life which make it all worthwhile.
Unfortunately, we live in very polarizing times. The stage, film, and alternative media industry is often forced to focus on the profit motive, the political imperative, or, in some cases, the racial or ethnic concerns of the artists’ community involved. All too often this focus of one’s energy is in direct conflict with the creative aspirations of the individual artist. How many times have people pointed out that “Hollywood is a business”?
I couldn’t agree more,, and business concerns are indeed essential to one’s survival. We must be efficient, astute, and pragmatic in our artistic endeavors, but we must never lose sight of our goal as artists. Often, art must be produced with the knowledge that it will not necessarily turn a profit but, more importantly, will make a statement to and about the social environment we are living in. We need to support those artists, too.
This is why we implore you to make a pledge to M’Sai Productions, for a one-time gift or a monthly donation, to keep the work flowing and to help us meet our monthly expenses. In these challenging and very tumultuous times, we, as a community, need to breathe and to express the benefits of liberty through our art and our voices lest we lose sight of that very liberty which our fathers and forefathers fought so hard to preserve.
Throughout history, artists have managed to survive only through patronage. Those patrons in the Theatre are often referred to as “Angels,” and it is these Angels that we are forced to so often rely on if we are to maintain our artistic freedom. If there is such an angelic spirit within you, and you have a desire to support a company that is intent on producing art that reflects the great diversity of this American community, then please sign up as a patron and make a pledge today.
No donation is too large or small, and monthly pledges allow us to have the confidence that once we start on a project, we will also have the resources to finish it.
For this we will be eternally grateful, and you will receive full credit on all our stage and film productions. Please check out our different patronage benefits -

Kudos and congratulations to Jeanna Pares who just recently won the "Best Narrative Short Award". along with her team of creators at the Awareness Film Festival in Los Angeles. This film was written and directed by Mark Riccadonna, a Stand up Comic/Producer/Director who also directed the Short Film, "The Painted Casket", a soon to be released film in which i have the pleasure of co-starring with Jeanna Pares in. What an extreme pleasure and a joy it was working with these professionals.
