Subtenant – Archive [Full Album | Acid Techno / House]
Archive is an album of acid, house, and techno tracks written over the last decade. Some were once meant for release on labels, others stayed unfinished, but together they capture a chapter of my sound as a producer.
I’ve always said acid is the dessert of house and techno — the moment in a set that lights everything up. Not every track here has an acid line, but that spirit runs through the album. My influences go beyond dance music into hip-hop, punk, hardcore, and drum & bass, but acid, house, and techno are at the core of this record.
This album is dedicated in part to my late friend Nathaniel Jay of Love Notes, one of the few people who believed in my music without caring about social media presence.
After years of holding onto these tracks, I decided it was time to release them raw, as they are. Archive is about clearing the slate — sharing music without hype, trends, or labels.
