Rooney Mara, American film and television actress, made her acting debut in 2005 and has gone on to star in films including A Nightmare on Elm Street, the remake of the 1984 horror film, and The Social Network. Mara rose to prominence starring as Lisbeth Salander, the title character in the 2011 version of the film The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, the first American film based on Stieg Larsson’s Millennium book series. For her performance in the film, she received critical acclaim and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress and a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama.
Mara is also known for her charity work. She oversees the charity Uweza Foundation, which supports empowerment programs for children and families in the Kibera slum in Nairobi, Kenya, one of the largest slums in Africa.

Amy Mainzer, PhD: Astrophysics.
Amy is the Deputy Project Scientist for the Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer. She is also the Principal Investigator for the NEOWISE project to study minor planets and the proposed Near Earth Object Camera space telescope mission. Her research interests include asteroids, brown dwarfs, planetary atmospheres, debris disks, star formation and the design and construction of new ground and space-based instrumentation.

Fun Fact: The asteroid (234750) Amymainzer was named after her.

Casey LaBow said it all started with her love for the Broadway musical Annie. When she was little, her dad would take her to shows such as Les Miserables, Miss Saigon and Cats.

Moved to Los Angeles with her mom and sister at the age of 16, and by age 18, she auditioned and was accepted into the American Academy of Dramatic Arts West to pursue her dream.

Casey (a.k.a. Kate Denali of The Twilight Saga) was auditioned five different times before being cast in the role. But the result is all that matters and admittedly, her character was brilliant.
