UPDATE: ľm taking someone's advice & explaining
more details. First, quit speculating on what might
have happened. We don't even know as of yet. It
just happened yesterday. The guy that was pulling
it works for the dealership. The dealership is
responsible for what happened. They have
insurance. We were told, they will make everything
right with us. This is our second camper we have
bought from them. They have a good reputation
We like them. They will fight it out with there
insurance if they need to. The driver told my
husband that the camper brakes didn't work & was
pushing him. He broke to avoid hitting us. Rather
he was inexperienced or not, is beside the point. It
was an unfortunate accident & I feel sorry for the
kid. I'm not concerned about being able to get
another camper. They already told us they will
have one identical to the one we had in 3 weeks.
Was just looking for prayers & encouragements
Not so many negative responses. At this point it
doesn't matter how old the truck looked, rather he
was a friend or not, rather he had insurance or
should have been driving at all, etc. etc. It
happened & we are dealing with it. It will be ok. It
will all work out. I'm a positive person & I know it
will be ok. We will keep camping with our old one
until we get the new one. Thanks to the kind words
& encouragement some gave
Never thought this was going to happen. Upgraded
our 29ft coachman to a 43ft Montana. Reason
being, we were having them take it to the
campground for us & that is where it will stay. We
are doing annually so we can come & go when we
want & stay as long as we want. We like it there so
much that we don't care to travel around. Getting
to old to set up & tear down so much. Anyway,
Thursday was the day to do this & this is what
happened. The guy that was pulling it is ok. We
were in front of him & looked in the mirrors & saw
it happened. Campers totaled & I was a mess. But
it will all work out.
