CHI Restaurant and Bar ( ) is where Sichuan heat meets NYC hustle 🔥🥢. Located in the heart of Hell’s Kitchen, CHI is the bold new chapter from the team behind the Michelin-recognized CHI (formerly Spy C in Forest Hills), reimagined with a full renovation and even more flavor.

This isn’t your typical takeout spot — CHI serves up Chinese American cuisine with serious flair. Think signature beef that melts in your mouth, braised pork spare ribs with chewy rice cakes, and small plates like their symbolic cucumber salad that hits with crisp, refreshing spice. But the true showstopper? The Emperor Seafood Fried Rice 👑🦞— packed with lobster, king crab, and over ten ingredients, wrapped in lotus leaf and infused with floral umami magic.

Loaf on Paper ( ) is a café and stationery haven in Williamsburg where Japanese *zakka* meets New York charm 🇯🇵📓☕️. It’s the sister shop to **niconeco zakkaya** in the East Village and the newest chapter in a journey that began back in 2015 with a humble Etsy shop and a dream to share the magic of Japanese paper culture.

Founder Yuki spent a decade living in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kagoshima before settling in NYC. Missing the warmth and wonder of Japan’s stationery scene, she launched **niconeco zakkaya**, which quickly became a cult favorite for journaling lovers and creatives alike. With **Loaf on Paper**, she’s expanded that vision into a space that blends journaling, specialty coffee, seasonal treats, and thoughtful design—all in one serene spot. ✨📮🍰

Every detail reflects her love for craftsmanship, simplicity, and slowing down. Whether you’re browsing washi tape, writing a letter, or sipping hojicha while flipping through your sketchbook, Loaf on Paper is a gentle reminder that beauty lives in the everyday.

Musaek (.nyc) is Koreatown’s moody, underground cocktail bar blending modern Korean seaside fare with experimental drinks 🍸🦪. It’s the third concept from Urimat Hospitality (behind HOWOO and DubuHaus), tucked beneath both in a sleek, 12,000 sq ft space anchored by a dramatic U-shaped bar and ambient lighting.

Led by Executive Chef Lenny Moon (ex-Jungsik) and Beverage Director John Roel Carpo, the menu reimagines coastal Korean dishes—like Jeju fluke, uni bibimbap, and monkfish soup—through a global lens. The all-clarified cocktail menu is one of NYC’s only, featuring drinks infused with Korean pear, nurungji, and gochujang syrup, served in custom Kimura glassware with whimsical garnishes. 🎴🥂

Whether you’re coming for the food, cocktails, DJ nights, or just the vibes, Musaek brings something rare to Koreatown: a fully immersive late-night experience rooted in tradition, with a bold eye toward the future.

MAMALI NYC () is the kind of spot you stumble into once and never forget ☕🍷. Tucked inside a 100-year-old cigar shop in the West Village, this moody little café-turned-wine bar is the brainchild of Mari Mushku (.mushku), who swapped grad school dreams for Georgian bites, espresso mornings, and wine-soaked nights.

With its cozy corners, cheeky charm, and old-world soul, MAMALI is more than a place to sip—it’s a story unfolding in real time. Come for the coffee, stay for the vibes, and leave feeling like you just experienced a little magic ✨.

Farley’s Sloppy Joes ( ) is NYC’s *first-ever* sloppy joe restaurant—and they’re not here to play it safe 😤🍔. Co-founded by Sam Saverance (Bunna Cafe) and Matt Buentello (Nitehawk Cinema), this wildly creative Bushwick spot is reimagining your childhood cafeteria sandwich with global flavor and grown-up swagger.

What started with a classic “Original Joe” has exploded into a whole world of “slopped” creations—think Cubano Joe, Cajun Joe, SE Asian Mekong Joe, Texas-style BBQ Joe, and even a vegan Beyond Meat version that slaps. Their motto? *”We’ll Slop Your Culture.”* And they mean it—future mashups in the works include Filipino, Ethiopian, Iranian, and Eastern European-style Joes 🤯.

Also on deck: Sloppy Dogs, Jr. Joes for the kiddos, gourmet sodas, and rotating desserts. It’s messy, it’s bold, and it’s unlike anything else in the city. This is nostalgia with a twist—and a whole lot of sauce.🔥

Sirrah () is the new kid on the Meatpacking block—serving up a bold, modern spin on the classic French steak frites experience 🥩🍷. From Ryan Harris (September Hospitality) and consulting chef Cody Pruitt (Libertine), this stylish newcomer delivers a four-course prix-fixe menu that reimagines French bistro fare with a NYC twist.

Set inside a moody, maximalist space designed by UK-based studio Fettle (think rich textures, burl oak, glass chandeliers, and blackened mirrors 👀), Sirrah is where old-world elegance meets downtown energy. Opening soon at 1 Little W 12th St—expect French classics, reinvented. 💫🇫🇷
