As'Salamu'Alaykum to my dear beloved Muslimah sisters🌹
It is vital that we as Muslims in the Western society, remain vigilant and alert and forever mindful that there are cultural and social influences, practices and inter-gender and intimate relationships that are normal and acceptable here in our society. We must avoid being influenced by the whispers of the voice of immorality. The behaviors that will pull you outside of the pail of Islam and will pull you from under the umbrella of wholesomeness and peace... that comes with having a relationship with Allah through submission to Allah. When a matter has been decided by Allah and his Messenger the believers say to it ("we hear and we obey")🤲
So we need to eliminate not only the question, but the possibility of allowing such a practice to come into our lives. Girlfriends and boyfriends have absolutely no place in a sincere Muslim's life. Sisters stop idolizing boyfriends and stop letting them waste your time and precious years. If a Muslim gentleman wants to get acquainted with you, it needs to be understood that there's but one purpose that a Muslim man would want to meet or get acquainted with a Muslim sister... MARRIAGE 🌹
UNLESS it's a 100% business relationship, other than that if he has an interest in her then that interest needs to be expressed from the onset.
The next question should not be what's your phone number, orr where you live. The next question should be who is your Wali... And that's the phone number he should be asking for if his intentions are pure. THAT'S the steps that he must take. Because Muslims date with a purpose; we don't have long courtships and dating hookups.
There's no situationships...
I've listened to some videos and unmarried couples been engaged for several years!
How can you be engaged for 4 years, have two children and still not married?
Serious PREMARITAL DISCUSSIONS needed to happen. On the matter of marriage, future and family considerations, family economic planing, etc. So we don't have space and time for boyfriends and girlfriends. ... Fahim M. Abdul-Aziz
