From our latest issue. The Holiday Dog Parade in Breckenridge, Colorado, started 15 years ago with a few dozen Bernese Mountain Dogs. Last year's parade featured 800 dogs.

It's been 25 years since the release of Best In Show. The film has become not just a longtime fan favorite of dog owners, but of comedy lovers in general (in 2022, Rolling Stone named the mockumentary the greatest comedy of the 21st century).

Michael Canalizo—an AKC Lifetime Achievement Award winner who inspired one of the movie's memorable characters—sat down to chat about the film.
