With all the attention that the show Love & Hip Hop (on VH1) has been getting, I have been contacted quite a few times by people comparing this show to my book, Drama 99FM. I wrote this book before the show was created, but it entails a fiction based version of some entertainment industry insiders and the the drama that goes into relationships, entertainment and power.

York, and is the formerMusic Coordinator at WQHT, Hot 97, the #1 Hip-Hop station in New York,and does writing for 98.7 Kiss. Janine is currently the advicecolumnist for King Magazine as well as the staff writer for CBS Radio-Fresh 102.7. Janine graduated from Hofstra University with a Bachelorsin Communications and she has been writing since junior high school.She has written for magazines such as XXL, The Source, Don Diva,Platinum Plus, and more. Janine has recently graduated from law school, and is hard at work on her next novel.
