Platform Media by Crown Infrastructure Solutions On March 1, 2011, the NYCT release REQUEST FOR INFORMATION #10RFIN44: http://www.mta.info/nyct/procure/rfi/10RFIN44.pdf

For over five years, New York based Crown Infrastructure Solutions LLC (CIS) has been working diligently on a program that will provide much needed improvements to the New York City subway system at no cost to the MTA or the city. Not only will the program upgrade the station, focusing on Platform Screen Doors (PSDs), it will produce long-term revenue for the MTA. CIS is proud to present Platform Media (PM). PM is an advertisement supported station improvement program specifically engineered to operate in the New York City Transit (NYCT) subway system. PM is centered on bringing increased safety, security and comfort to the station platform at no cost to the transportation service provider. This is made possible by integrating a digital entertainment network, which will broadcast programming and advertisements to the captive audience waiting on the station platform. This network will not only produce the cash flow to construct and sustain the system, but provide a generous revenue stream to the participating parties. The system is comprised of several components including monitors, which display a digital entertainment network, digital information displays, which provide detailed information on train service, destination arrival time, surveillance equipment and Platform Screen Doors (PSDs). CIS has additionally worked out a construction schedule that allows for the PSDs to be installed without causing any track outages of the MTAs current train schedules. #10RFIN44 is comprised of all solutions CIS has developed. Through our advanced knowledge of the NYCT subway system, countless hours perfecting PM and our altruistic philosophy for the advancement of NYC infrastructure, we are confident that PM is the solution to ensure NYCT subway system is a global leader in transit. We encourage you to participate on this page, sharing personal experiences, thoughts about the NYCT/MTA as a whole, feelings towards current subway conditions and any additions you would like to see that would enhance your commute.

Mission: Bringing increased safety, security and comfort to the station platform at no cost to the transportation service provider. We encourage you to participate in this page. Please post personal stories, thoughts on the NYCT/MTA current handle on subway technology, feelings on the system at large and anything you think would make for a more favorable commute.

We're back...

New York Daily News did an amazing job at presenting an unbiased & hopeful view to our collaboration with Paul Massey to fix and improve NYCs transit issues! So much more to come from a man who this city needs as it's next Mayor!

"We think it’s excellent that Massey has engaged some serious transit wonks to advise his campaign,” he said of the plan, which offers detailed track switch plans."

Cuomo seeks 'reinvention' of transit system

I wonder if any of the ideas we have already presented come up... they are already using the FASTTRACK system we proposed in '07.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo called for the creation of a "transportation reinvention commission" to recommend changes to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority's capital program.
