asking for my permission to send my tutorials home to their students, which I was only too happy to do. Being able to support those dedicated teachers who did not want their students to lose art, on top of everything else, was one of the most rewarding experiences I've ever had."

We've loved getting to know the fall 2021 Remarkable Voices class, and we hope you have too! For our final class member highlight, meet Nzinga Young: a Brooklyn-based vegan influencer who works to create a positive and collaborative online space.

As a born and raised vegetarian and 6 year vegan, her platform allows current and aspiring vegans to share tips, ask questions, and openly discuss topics without fear of judgment. Nzinga spent years working for various Animal Rights nonprofits and speaking on vegan issues.

Meet Kimberly Smith — Indigenous activist, organizer, and citizen scientist from the Diné Nation, and member of the fall 2021 Remarkable Voices class!

Kimberly advocates for environmental justice, food sovereignty, permaculture, art expansion, and Indigenous knowledge. She is the Founder of Indigenous Goddess Gang, an Indigenous-led community and online feminist magazine. Kim and the IGG collective are curating a digital space to reclaim traditional and healing knowledge from an Indigenous feminist lens.
