A Cup of Tea With Meesh A little about me: I’m a multi-passionate New Yorker drawn to cozy corners, pretty table settings, comfy cardigans and whimsy in all forms.

Hi, I’m Meesh! πŸŒΈβ˜•οΈ Pour your favorite teaβ€”or something more festiveβ€”and join me for cozy vlogs (the kind you can leave on in the background), cute outfits, creative living inspiration, and glimpses of my daily life as a maker and mama.

One of my resolutions this year is to MAKE more, with the goal of being consistent even if it's messy and imperfect. An obstacle I've faced in the past is when I do have time or space for making, I'm often tired and feeling deflated, which is not very conducive to creativity.

However, just like motivation follows action, creativity follows breaking out the paints, beads, sewing supplies, sketchbook, or whatever tools you love and just getting something going. Anything!

Here's your reminder (and mine, too) to tap into the joy of creative experimentation even when you're tired, uninspired, or not "feeling" it. Any act of creativity can be rejuvenating and centering, which can make it exponentially easier to return to. Happy making!

✨ 2026 Resolutions ✨

πŸ“Œ Ample time at the craft table
πŸ“Œ Go all in on personal goals
πŸ“Œ ...while appreciating life now
πŸ“Œ Embrace seasonal living to the fullest
πŸ“Œ Regular "life resets" to recalibrate and recenter
πŸ“Œ Try new teas each month
πŸ“Œ Celebrate more by planning ahead
πŸ“Œ Have fun with my wardrobe again
πŸ“Œ Grow YouTube channel and socials by making fun, super-festive content
πŸ“Œ Declutter physically, digitally, mentally
πŸ“Œ More whimsy and lightness in the face of life's challenges
πŸ“Œ Give my little family everything πŸ’

I keep a full breakdown of my resolutions and the goals that will move me toward them in Asana. I expect it all to evolve throughout the year as it always does. What will 2027 me think when she looks back on this list? That's up to me, I guess...

What are your goals for 2026?

A scroll through the things I made (and started to make) last year, from neat novelties to party decor and more. My creative resolution for this year is to stop waiting for "ideal" circumstances and simply make things because it makes me genuinely happy. βœ‚οΈ

What did you make this year?

The world (at least online) has moved on to vision boards and winter arcs, which I love... but I'm still very much recovering from 2025, piecing together my plan for the next 12 months. There's so much I want to do, so many results I want to create, and so many teas I want to try!

I've been reflecting and reminiscing as I go through photos and videos from 2025 (it was the first year since 2018 where I didn't regularly publish vlogs, which feels so weird). Now that I've officially made it to the other side, it's easier to look back on the tough parts as lessons... and to fully appreciate what was good.

I've been filming a bit of a new year's reset to post after my Christmas vlogs. It feels good to be documenting again even if I'm perpetually "behind" on it. I've also decided to share more this year, even when life feels tumultuous, because that's the whole point. Sharing, connecting, and not feeling so alone in this big, bad world.

I hope your shiny new year is going great so far, friends. I know we're only a week in. The turmoil of last year hasn't dissolved... but the energy feels promising. Remember: Optimism is a practice.

xoxo

2025, you taught me a lot about resilience and reframing. You gave me the opportunity to turn inward and know myself better. You gave me ample time to love and appreciate family. You gave me the first steps toward the future I want to build for them (while teaching me how to be patient with excruciatingly slow progress).

You were also intolerable and hellish at times. You delivered some blows that I didn't see coming. But I am grateful to have been through it all, and I'm grateful to be seeing another year in this crazy, amazing world. Here's to making it through and looking forward.

2026, it's time to make some serious, life-altering magic.

Happy New Year!! β„οΈβœ¨πŸŽ‰πŸ₯‚ And thanks to for the amazing Christmas cookies 🀍🀍

It took me a long time to understand that I feel the most fulfilled and joyful when I'm creating: sewing, making, crafting, DIY-ing. This especially applies to holidays. My "ideal" (a.k.a. fantasy) self executes an elevated artisan holiday like Martha, but the real me is last-minute ordering gifts and decor on Prime.

I know there's a balance in there somewhere, and I know I'll find it one of these years. For now, I'm just making sure I find time to do fun crafts with my little one and bring my mind back to gratitude as often as possible.

If you can relate, give yourself a break, too. It's okay if you don't have a Pinterest-perfect Christmas this year. I like this Virginia Woolf quote: "Arrange whatever pieces come your way." Do something magical with what you have, in your own way.

Hope you're having a festive week, friends. The countdown is on! πŸŽ„πŸŽ€βœ¨
