Home sick with a head cold today but still managed to hit a milestone by finishing what I call the “Primary Audio and SFX” portion of the movie. This means I’ve gotten everything I could get out of the audio we recorded on site including backgrounds, environment manipulation and dialogue - and also (most) recreated sound effects are in place. Next step is ADR for dialogue that wasn’t salvageable and music/weird synthesizer noises work (and then after that color correction and degraining.... and then probably another watch through and further cut down of the splicing). Anyway, sick days can still be productive apparently! #CelebratingWithKennyOmegaFingers
