I was living in New York City on September 11, 2001. It’s difficult to put into words what it was like to watch the city I love experience something so unimaginable — and then to witness the courage, humanity and strength of New Yorkers in the hours and days that followed.

Today I remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the first responders and everyday people who ran toward danger to help complete strangers.
Some days never leave you. Never forget. 9/11/01. 🇺🇸
