He’s small, chunky, toothless, and just discovered his tongue. 😝 This baby pygmy hippo melted the internet—first with those doughy cheeks, then with a goofy tongue moment. 💦
Unlike their larger cousins, pygmy hippos are shy West African forest dwellers, weighing just 1/10th of a Nile hippo. They prefer rivers and swamps over open water.
Don’t let the baby face fool you—he’ll grow to 600 pounds and can hold his breath for 5 minutes. For now, it’s all giggles and bubble-blows. Even nature has a sense of humor. 🦛💕
