Today marks the 50th Anniversary of the historic March on Washington. With conviction and eloquence Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., delivered the legendary "I Have A Dream" speech. The profound, moving, and inspirational speech's rippling effects are still felt today. In 2008, the United States of America elected its 1st African American President, Barack Obama. The historical event was thought to be the zenith and culmination for what the civil rights movement had fought so hard for.
Reflecting back to whence we came to where we are; do you feel that we have attained racial equality in America? Have we fulfilled Dr. King's "dream" and surpassed it?
What are your thoughts?
