Chris “Daze” Ellis is a prolific artist and muralist. In the 1970s and 80s he helped spark a worldwide street art movement, and now his paintings have been collected by major art museums such as MoMA. 📣 This Black History Month we're highlighting his radical contributions.

✨ Designer & Animator on our team, Dalmarcus Constance, says:

I like Chris “Daze” Ellis because he keeps that true graffiti energy alive while pushing it into new spaces. Graffiti has this raw, unfiltered creativity—bold colors, fast movement, and a mix of styles all colliding on a wall—and Daze captures all of that. He started on subway trains in the ’70s, but even in galleries, his work still feels alive, like the city itself is speaking.
