Russia and Revolution at KGB Bar
During the Cold War, it was the headquarters of Little Ukraine’s semi-secret Socialist club. Now it hosts literary events almost every night.
Originally a speakeasy for Ukrainian Socialists who met behind its double-locked doors to hide their political affiliations , the KGB Bar, since its reincarnation in 1993, has become something of a New York literary institution.
