This morning, I noticed a small white cross on the left headlight of my car, and I panicked. Recently, there's been a lot of talk about burglars marking vehicles they want to steal, so I thought they were targeting mine.

In a panic, I called my husband and told him someone was trying to steal the car. He asked me to calm down, then asked me to send him a photo of the cross. After a few seconds of silence, he confirmed that it was exactly what I thought, but he had a plan.

Last night, after a tiring day at work, I decided to stay at my mom's. From time to time, she goes to visit her sister, and during her absence, I take care of her house. I feed her cat, look after her plants, and generally take care of everything.

But last night, too tired to go up to her room, I chose to fall asleep in the living room. In the morning, I woke up and went to the bathroom. As I passed by my mom’s bedroom, I noticed there was someone in her bed. I didn’t think much of it at first, thinking she had come back during the night.

Later, when leaving the house to go to work, I decided to wake her up to leave her the keys. I approached her room, and there… I saw a stranger in her bed. A man in his sixties, with a gray beard, someone I had never seen before.

At first, I screamed out of fear. The man woke up with a start. I asked him who he was and what he was doing there. He asked me to calm down and called me by my name, as if he knew me.

When he revealed his identity, I was frozen, not knowing what to say.

😯 I noticed a dark mass in one of our rooms, stuck near the cornice. A strange feeling overwhelmed me, so I immediately called my husband. He told me to take a picture and send it to him.

😦 At my grandfather’s funeral, I noticed a little girl near the coffin and was left puzzled when I discovered who she was.

The funeral of my grandfather was a particularly heavy moment for me. When I was a child, I used to spend my holidays at his place, and he often told me, "When I’m gone, you’ll see a rainbow in the sky, and you’ll know I’m watching over you." Those words used to comfort me, but today, they echoed painfully in my mind.

Over the past five years, my life had been so consumed by work, obligations, and my own concerns, that I hadn’t taken the time to visit him. Each time, I’d tell myself, "I’ll go next month." And now, it was too late. I was standing before his coffin, filled with regret.

When everyone had left, I noticed a little girl, about four years old. She seemed lost, as if she had no idea what was going on. Curious, I approached my mother to ask who she was. My mother didn’t know her.

I walked up to the little girl, a little hesitant, and asked, "What’s your name? Are you all alone? Where are your parents?"

😦 I found these oval-shaped stains on one of my sweaters, and I was really panicked when I found out what they were.

Recently, I did a little tidying up in my closets and, while sorting through my clothes, I came across some sweaters I hadn’t worn in a while. Last winter was so mild that I didn’t really need them.

But as I pulled out one sweater, I noticed some strange oval stains stuck to the fabric. At first, I thought they were dried berries or seeds, maybe left by my kids. However, the smell they gave off was quite unpleasant.

Curious, I took a photo to do some online research. When I found out what they were, I was relieved I hadn’t touched them, but this experience taught me to be more cautious.

😲 After my honeymoon, I went back to the office and was fired for a completely absurd reason.

😦 My dog stole a man's hot dog during the baseball game, and his reaction really surprised me.

I always bring my dog, Baxter, with me to watch the baseball game because he loves the stadium atmosphere. I put on his favorite cap, and I always get an extra seat for him.

He watches the game attentively and gets excited every time the ball is pitched, drawing attention from the crowd. The last time we were at the stadium, I turned away for just a few seconds to chat with a man. Baxter took advantage of this moment to steal the hot dog of a man sitting behind us.
