With election day coming up on Tuesday, November 3 presidential nominee Joe Biden has a lead by 7% in national polls making the challenge of winning battleground states more intense. Biden has begun to swing over typical republican votes.

In the battleground States, Biden is taking lead with Trump on his coattail. According to the BBC Biden is ahead in Florida, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

This year, sport looked different not only for the professionals but also for colleges. In the North East Conference (NEC), all sporting seasons have been pushed back due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.
Currently, all sporting disciplines are awaiting a decision from the NEC concerning training and the resuming of their seasons. Meanwhile, at St. Francis College, multiple teams are back and have begun training.

A brand-new Amnesty International Chapter is currently being established at St. Francis College. This Chapter will be the first of its kind to be established at the College.

“Changing the world can begin with one idea from one student and our ultimate goal is to be able to provide students with the wealth of resources available through our partnership with AIUSA and work together to bring those ideas to life,” said one of the Co-Moderators of the Chapter, Esther Hassell.

As the saying goes, “don’t judge a book by its cover.” St. Francis College may seem like a typical small private college, but it is actually an impressive academic institute that has earned a spot on the U.S. News & World Report’s annual college rankings because of its achievements.

St. Francis College ranked 13th out 57 in its category of Northern Regional Colleges. U.S. News looked at a total of 1,452 colleges and universities while conducting their study.

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg passed away due to complications from metastatic pancreatic cancer at the age of 87 on September 18th, 2020.

It is a tragic and profound loss that the entire country feels. A trailblazer in many regards, Ginsburg revolutionized the new generation by combatting discrimination. At the age of 37, Ginsburg served as co-director of the Women’s Rights Project of the American Civil Liberties Union. By the time she left the ACLU, Ginsburg had brought about the beginnings of a revolution in how women were treated, wiping close to 200 laws that discriminated quietly.
