What happens when a book tour becomes research for your next book?

For Maiana Rose, taking Oh, The Dudes That You’ll Date international became about much more than promoting the book.

The final leg of the Single AF Tour took Maiana from London to Paris — exploring dating culture, meeting local singles and asking whether the struggles of modern romance really change when you cross the Atlantic.

What started as a book tour soon became something else entirely: a new perspective on writing about modern dating, culture and connection — and the beginnings of Book #3.

On August 25, join Pivot-Quest authors Luis Rodriguez Baptista and Juliana Pereira, alongside Publishizer CEO & Co-Founder Bethany Marshall, as they host an intimate launch evening at Bibliothèque in SoHo, New York City. 📚🍷

After interviewing more than 100 career pivoters across 25 countries, alongside conversations with leading voices including Dorie Clark, Steve Cadigan, Laurie Santos, Lindsay Kaplan, Tal Ben-Shahar and T. Alexander Puutio, Luis and Juliana discovered something important:

Career pivots are rarely just about work.

They’re about identity, belonging, courage, purpose — and giving ourselves permission to begin again.

Rather than a traditional author talk, the evening will open up a conversation around some of the questions shaping the future of work:

✨ Why are so many people quietly rethinking their careers?
✨ What uniquely human skills will matter most in the age of AI?
✨ Why do our biggest career decisions often become life’s biggest turning points?
✨ How do you know when it’s time to turn the page?

Alongside the conversation, there’ll be a curated flight of wines, audience Q&A, book signing, and the chance to meet fellow readers, leaders, creatives and career pivoters navigating change themselves.

📍 Bibliothèque, 54 Mercer St, SoHo, NYC
🗓️ Tuesday, August 25 | 6–8 PM
🎟️ Tickets available now — link in bio

Come for the conversation. Leave with a new perspective on your own next chapter.

You might not leave with all the answers. But you may leave asking better questions — and sometimes, that’s where every meaningful pivot begins.

When Anthony Moreno entered the Publishizer Wellness contest with Fitness Sucks!, his message immediately stood out. It went on to become the bestselling project in the competition, proving that readers are ready for a different conversation about health.

Rather than promoting perfection, Fitness Sucks! challenges the shame, extremes, and unrealistic expectations that have come to define modern fitness culture. Anthony argues that health isn’t about becoming someone else - it’s about building habits that actually fit your life.

As he writes in our latest blog:

“The goal isn’t perfection. The goal is sustainability.”

In the blog, Anthony shares:
✨ Why the book began as a simple guide for clients
✨ How years in the military, coaching, and gym ownership shaped his philosophy
✨ Why motivation is overrated- and consistency is what really creates lasting change
✨ How the Publishizer journey helped turn an idea into a movement

📖 Fitness Sucks! is available to pre-order now, and you can read Anthony’s full story through the link in our bio.

Congratulations again to Anthony on becoming the Wellness contest bestseller! 🎉

Join us for an evening celebrating storytelling, creativity, and publishing at Bibliothèque.

The evening welcomes Suzy Gooch, author of The Nonnegotiable, and Anne Brooks, author of A Girl in the Water and editor at Morgan James Publishing.

Together they’ll discuss:

• Where stories originate and how ideas evolve
• Building characters, tension, and emotional stakes
• The role of personal experience versus imagination
• What they’ve learned about writing, publishing, and connecting with readers
• Navigating the creative process when the work becomes challenging

The evening will also feature a thematic wine pairing inspired by the atmosphere and themes of both books, creating an immersive literary experience for guests.

Attendees will have the opportunity to take part in an audience Q&A, connect with fellow readers, writers, and publishing professionals, and will receive a copy of The Nonnegotiablealong with an advance reader copy of Anne Brooks’ forthcoming novel, A Girl in the Water.

What happens when the career you’ve built no longer fits the person you’ve become?

That’s the question at the heart of Pivot-Quest by Luis Baptista and Juliana Pereira.

In a world where careers are constantly evolving, Pivot-Quest explores how professional reinvention can become an opportunity for growth rather than something to fear. Drawing on personal experiences, research, and conversations with successful career pivoters, the book offers practical guidance for anyone ready to embrace change and take the next step in their journey.

As explored in our blog, career pivots aren’t simply about starting over, they’re about aligning your work with who you are today and where you want to go next.
