We want to thank all our listeners for their support during the Covid 19 era. During this time, Chinamerica Radio continued to broadcast the best in Chinese Pop Contemporary 24/7 without missing any downtime. For everyone stuck at home, we are happy that many of you discovered our station and spent some of that time listening to us. We'll be back appearing in more public events in person, soon. We've also update our page and invite your posts.

Although we are not a non-profit organization by charter, our staff members are all volunteers and there are no paid employees or officers. We also operate an internship program to train and encourage Chinese-Americans to become engaged in the broadcasting and media industry. We have some loyal advertisers, but our listeners axsked if they could contribute a small "thank you" donation. Therefore we've set up a GoFundMe page for that purpose.

Confucius Institute for Business located at Nassau Community College celebrated Chinese New year on February 4th with an All-Star lineup of dancers musicians calligraphy and Chinese food for all who attended. Chinamerica Radio is happy to be an ongoing partner with the Confucius Institute.

The Museum of Chinese in America (MOCA)presented its 2019 Legacy Awards Gala on November 13 at the NYC Mandarin Oriental Hotel. Chinamerica Radio was pleased to be in attendance and captured these photos of the honorees including: the multi-generational artistic legacy of the Tsai Family, recipient of the Generational Legacy Award; Michelle Koo Hayashi and Jess Ting, M.D. (Legacy Award), documentary filmmaker and plastic surgeon of the Mount Sinai Center for Transgender Medicine and Surgery, respectively; Tzi Ma (Legacy Award), beloved Hong Kong American actor and director; and the Honorable Mae Yih, Oregon State Senator (Legacy Award), pioneering public servant and the first Chinese American state legislator.
