This wins all of my thrift store finds. I found myself in existential awe and confusion when I discovered this portal of a mug at a thrift store in Montreal. I put it back because clearly that is it's natural environment where it belongs. Who on earth created this? Apparently insta handle "pied-bougie" which translates to "foot candle". Absolute show stopper! 💀☕

BEWARE when shopping at Goodwill! I fell in love with this! It was taped (very well) and I bought it. Got home and carefully peeled the tape off. The inside edge that holds the top was half broken! It still holds the lid but I am so disappointed!

Thank you to everyone who responded to my last post (I’ll link it in the comments)! Dress 2 is so beautiful and in-style right now, so I knew that it would probably be a favorite amongst commenters. However.. there’s just a classic elegance and crisp-ness to dress 1 that I couldn’t shake, so I went back and re-tried it on with my favorite veil… and I think I’m going to say yes to this dress! Keep in mind that the store’s dress is a size 12 and I’m a size 0-1, so I imagine that once it’s in my size/proportions, tailored, and not being tugged by clips, it’ll look perfect 🤍 I hope I’m making the right choice!! I’ll take the weekend to sleep on it.

This is Mochi, and she's been my shadow for the past four years. She follows me from room to room, sleeps on my pillow every night, and has this way of knowing exactly when I need comfort. When I'm stressed, she just appears and starts purring.

My girlfriend and I just moved in together last month. It's our first place as a couple, and we're both so excited to start this new chapter. We've been talking about what kind of art we want on the walls, what will make this house feel like home for both of us.

I knew I wanted something special for our living room, something that represented this new beginning. Since Mochi is such a huge part of my life, I decided to commission a custom portrait of her. I found this incredible artist on the Tedooo app who specializes in pet portraits, and when I saw her work, I knew she was perfect.

This is the first piece of art I've ever commissioned, and seeing Mochi's personality captured so beautifully just makes me emotional. The way the artist painted her expression, that slightly judgmental look she always gives me when I'm late with her dinner, it's perfect.

Now she's hanging above our couch, and every time I look at it, I think about how far we've come. New house, new life, but with my faithful companion right there with us.

Mochi approves too, obviously. She's been sitting in front of it for the past hour like she's admiring herself.

So we are remodeling one of our bathrooms & I purchased vintage vogue by BM (shown in top left) but the swatch I got from store is circled in yellow. I’m feeling like this color may look way too dark but it’s hard to tell bc the light fixtures arent installed yet.

I plan to open the paint and see how it looks on a section but wanted opinions & feedback from anyone else who may have used this color in their home. Thank you!!

I bought this at Trader Joe’s Christmas 2024. I was told by the checker that after it was done to cut it down and put it in a dry, dark atmosphere, take out the next Christmas and water.

I did.

Well, to my excitement this December it sprouted a cute little sprout leaf. Yayyy

Its current state is the same after all these months. Anyone know what’s going on!?

My husband says it is dead, but I disagree. It is green and strong
