Our Story

Our mission is to maintain a strong connection within the community while simultaneously reaching our audience on a much broader scale by airing unique programming, music, daily news, and entertainment. WCBG is proud to be the voice of our generation! WCBG has recently rebranded from WCBG Radio to WCBG Media since we can accomplish so much more by reaching people across multiple platforms.

In 2019, WCBG started an initiative to reach out to artists that inspire our staffers and our community. Finding artists whose music speaks to us deserves to be shared with the world whether it be through an interview or promoting new tracks. We have also branched out to other platforms like YouTube and SoundCloud to promote these artists who deeply resonate with the staff. WCBG is pleased to say that they have continued to grow our audience by using radio as a voice and a medium to express the importance of music in this day and age. Every artist that we interview serves a purpose in our decade and can help change the world through music.

Professionally renovated with new equipment, software, and streaming platform, WCBG is back in action and stronger than ever. We are all truly looking forward to this new adventure, and hope that you can join us!
