I had a great time working as an actor at the Playwright/Director's Workshop at The Actor's Studio tonight. I love a workshop where I can be a writer and an actor. The triad between Actor, Writer, Director is respected and cultivated in a wonderful way at this historical studio.

I spent the past 24 hours editing my new short, Dysfunctional Duo, and rehearsing a new play at The Actor's Studio. I love collaborating on new work. Storytelling is so thrilling!

Monday I got to see George Clooney being taped for Inside The Actor's Studio. Tuesday the first 3 scenes of my play were presented at The Actor's Studio. I remember watching the show with my Mom in the late 90's and dreaming of working at such a historical place. I love it when dreams come true.

Can't wait to see clips from the new comedy, Dysfunctional Duo, I shot in September. Just got word that a rough cut is done. These people work fast and Nyle Lynn and I had a blast creating these crazy roommate characters.

If you live in NYC, go see this film! It's playing at the Angelika through Thursday 8/11. I saw the SAG screening with Amy Leland Hemphill and had the privilege to meet the amazing director, Rashaad Ernesto Green. This film is going places, so if you want to say you knew it all along like the cool New Yorkers you are, don't miss it!
