Renault’s $185k 555HP Hot Hatch🇫🇷

[10–29-25 /// ] Us Americans should look away at the new Renault 5 Turbo 3E as we will never get a chance to buy one new, but this 555HP EV hot hatch is entering production, at a cost. Priced at a shocking $185,000, the 5 Tubro 3E will begin deliveries in 2027 and just 1,980 will be made. But why so pricy? ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🏁 Spec Sheet: The Renault 5 Turbo 3E starts with 2 in-wheel hub motors out back, making it RWD and giving it a 43/57 f/r weight distribution. It makes a combined 555HP from an 800v architecture, has 330kW DC Fast charging (10-80% in1 5min, and will get around a WLTP rated 248 miles of range from a 70kWh battery. 0-60 happens around 3.5 seconds and it weighs under 3,196lbs. 🏁

So the specs alone are a bit nuts. The platform is unique largely too. And these in wheel hub motors have extreme power control, torque vectoring, and very uncommon in the industry. Adding to the cost. Design wise, it looks epic and has a carbon fiber body with unique lights, a wide fenders, aero, and more. Oh and over 500 units have been reserved already.

The World’s FIRST Road Legal Ferrari 599XX? 🇮🇹

[11-7-25 /// ] BEHOLD, you can now buy the what looks like a road legal Ferrari 599XX thanks to Talos Vehicles. This UK based company pulled the wraps off this wild creation called the 599XXT, based on the 599GTB. While not necessarily a 599XX underneath, it sure looks the part and gets the performance bits to prove it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Under the hood is an upgraded 6.0L V12 naw making 674HP and 490 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels through the “F1” 6-speed gearbox and even an optional manual. 0-60 should happen around 3.5 seconds with a 205MPH TopSpeed

Honda’s Future Powertrains 🇯🇵

An all new platform is under works with new engines and hybrid systems set to underpin key models like the Civic, CR-V and more. As with most new platforms, it will be more rigid, stronger, and will offer improved handling. Though, Honda is claiming it will also shave nearly 200lbs off of current platforms. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Spec Sheet: Honda’s new hybrid system likely will use a 2.0L 4-cylinder gas engine with eMotors and could integrate features like the Prelude’s simulated gear shifts.

The company is also working on an all new V6 Hybrid system for SUVs.

This new architecture will be able to power more vehicles too as 60% of parts will be shared across models. The wrapped up Civic we see here is a test prototype hiding the new platform bits and powertrain. Honda is also showing off their Super One EV prototype, not for the US market. What we will get is the new USA made Honda 0 SUV which should arrive first.

Italy’s MCPURA Police Car 🔱 🇮🇹

Yep, Maserati helped to convert a MCPURA into a special high speed medical transport vehicle alongside some other products like a Giulia Quadrifoglio.

Official: Renault Twingo Returns🇫🇷

[11-6-25 /// ] Renault has pulled the wraps off the new Twingo and it may be one of the coolest new small cars, not for America of course. Officially called the Twingo E-Tech, it’s an EV only now and the design is stellar. From funky LED lights to a compact bubbly shape only Renault could pull off, it’s certainly not boring. Heck, it can even get up to 18in wheels. (16in are standard) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🏁 Spec Sheet: This 4th generation Twingo uses a FWD mounted eMotor to make 80HP and 129 lb-ft of torque. It weighs just around 2,645lbs too. The battery is quite small at just 27.5kWh and uses a LFP chemistry. The WLTP range figure sits around 163miles and it can DCFC at 50kW. It also supports bi-directional charging. 🏁

Stellantis’s NEW Hurricane 4 Engine

[11-4-25 /// ] One of the main pieces of the 2026 Grand Cherokee is the all new engine under the hood. Meet Hurricane 4 Turbo, a pretty wild new 4-Cylinder that likely will make its way to many other Stellantis products in the future. And Stellantis designed it be efficient, power dense, and as reliable as they can make it.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The main new feature of Hurricane 4 Turbo is Turbulent Jet injection “TGI”. All this is is a smaller chamber with an additional spark plug in each cylinder to ignite the air/fuel mixture more efficiently ahead of the traditional combustion cycle. Another spark plug then can be activated under acceleration. The engine also features direct and port injection.

There also is a variable geometry turbo with active turbo vanes that can make up to 35psi of boost. All of this in a 2.0L 4-cylinder making 324P and 332 lb-ft of torque sounds intense. Which is why it uses a single cast aluminum block with an aluminum oil pan, timing cover, and thick cylinder walls.

This TGI system overall uses 10% less fuel and making 20% more power than the current GME-T4 engine. Torque comes in at 2,600 to 5,600 RPM. In the 2026 Grand Cherokee, it also has a fuel range of 506 miles and can tow 6,200lbs while getting 21MPH city, 23MPH combined and 27MPH Highway.

ACN EXTRA: Ok ok this is a cool engine, was expecting better MPG figures, though would love to see this stuffed (and turned transverse) into a Cherokee SRT-4 or something fun, even in the Wrangler it will be a nice bump over the current GME-T4.

Ringbrothers Debut Kingpin Mustang Build 🇺🇸

[11-5-25 /// /// Image by: Ringbrothers] Ringbrothers have revealed a truly wild take on the 1969 Mustang Mach 1 that took over 5,500 hours to complete. Why so long? Well the team converted the once body on frame pony car to a unibody chassis, along with adding 2in of front width, 3.5in out back, and remade panels out of carbon fiber. Also new is a roll cage, and the Roadster Shop chassis comes with a full independent suspension with adjustable Fox RS coilovers. This all is finished in deep black paint with custom graphics and green accents. Even the 3D printed taillights doubt as a heat vent. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

🏁 Spec Sheet: Under the hood is nothing stock. Here we find a Wegner Motorsports Coyote V8 paired with a Whipple supercharger to make over 800HP to the rear wheels through a 6-Speed Bowler manual gearbox. 🏁

There also are new Dakota Digital gauges, a new a/c cycles, and see through dash bits to have a peek at the hard work put into this build.

Germany’s BEST SUV Is A Cadillac? 🇺🇸

Quality is up across the board and it’s getting so good Germany has crowned a Cadillac as one of the best cars to buy in the county. Standard of the world much? The German Car of The Year awards have 5 categories with a large 40 judge panel. The Lucid Air Sapphire took the crown in the performance category, another American brand. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

“HELP ME!” - Audi A8

So what’s going on with its future? Well Audi doesn’t even know it seems. The A8 already has undergone a mild facelift and third, like the Q7 has received, won’t be happening. Options for the brand include a full EV, which may be unfavorable given the slowing market, or another combustion variant. But given the poor sales and dominance by the S-Class and 7-Series, a new A8 would really have to stand out. Given it’s also 2025, a new A8 would likely not even arrive before 2030

This Tuatara gets the bold aero kit from the Striker, though it’s a track focused machine, primed for ultimate downforce. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀

🏁 Spec Sheet: The Tuatara Aggressor is powered by a custom 5.9L TT V8 developed by nelson racing engines to produce a massive 2,200HP on Methanol, 1,750HP on Ethanol, and 1,350HP and 91 Octane. It is an advanced beast too with a flat plane crank, 8,800RPM redline all paired to a custom 7 speed CIMA “robotic manual” electrohydraulic racing style gearbox. The Tuatara continued to use a carbon fiber monocoque chassis, helping drive weight ti be around 2,750lbs. 🏁

The hypercar also features 3 modes that adjust the ride height too.

BREAKING: Dodge Charger Sixpack 🇺🇸

[8-8-25 /// ] Dodge is on a major comeback move with expedited combustion engine returns. The new Charger is officially here in coupe & sedan forms and starting at around $51,990, for the R/T trim. Oh, and Dodge’s CEO hinted that they are stuffing a V8 in it soon too. The Sixpack will come in AWD standard with a RWD mode. The Sedan starts at $53,990. The S**tpack, with the high output engine, starts at $56,990 for the coupe and $58,990 for the sedan. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

🏁 Spec Sheet: The R/T comes with the standard output 3.0L Twin Turbo Inline-6 engine making 420HP and 468 lb-ft of torque though an 8-speed gearbox.

The High output makes 550HP and 531 lb-ft of torque with forged internals, a 0-60 of under 3.9 seconds and a 1/4 mile of around 12.2 seconds. 🏁
