Buyers, in Japan at least for now, can upgrade their hybrid grand tourer with sporty body kits, wheels, tires, and more by Mugen. TEASED: Mercedes GLC EV Interior

Meet the upcoming GLC with EQ Technology’s Interior, launched on the day of the iX3 reveal…very clever. Instead of a few displays, Mercedes has made this new interior entirely a gigantic screen. It’s 39.1inches too. Thankfully it’s optional. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

🏁 Spec Sheet: It will come in RWD and AWD flavors. 4Matic models will come with a disconnect unit to disengage the front axle. It will use a 800v architecture with 320kW DCFC. Audi Concept C VS Audi TT⚡️ 🇩🇪

[9–5-25 /// /// Image by Audi ] Audi officially revealed the Concept C concept and they say it’s on the road to production… in a few years. This new concept aims to be a new design direction for the brand, refreshingly returning to their iconic Audi steeringwheel too. The road car coming around 2027, should look nearly identical to this too. It draws on design from the TT, Avus concept, and Rosemeyer concepts… along with some Jaguar Type 00 on the side profile, and heck, the original Audi TT too.

🏁 Spec Sheet: it allegedly weighs around 3,726lbs, uses an 800v architecture, can be RWD or AWD, though the platform is unknown. Will it share bones with the upcoming Porsche 718 EV?

The original TT launched in 1998 with a 1.8L turbo 4-cylinder, with up to 222HP, a VR6 option made up to 247HP. It weighed around 3,131-3,274lbs. 🏁

In Fall 2025, we will see a concept of what this new “TT” would look like and the folks at Audi are saying this could be a brand changing product. Size wise, it will be between the R8 and the old TT and production should follow before the end of the decade.

The Concept C is a two seater with a retractable roof as well, slim LED lights, and size wise, it’s around that of an R8. Inside is a rather refreshing minimalist space with a retractable screen, just like old Audi products, no silly passenger display, and a gorgeous steeringwheel made from metal, no plastic here.

NK uses an 800v system too with 6th generation eDrive motors and new cylindrical battery cells. It can DC Fast Charge at 400kw, meaning 230 miles in 10 min. It also comes with a a NACS port (USA) and has bi directional charging. RWD versions are coming as are higher performance. 🏁

2025 BMW M5 REVIEW!

[9-4-25 /// /// Image by: ] After having a very short run in the M5 Touring, in the wet, we had this stunning M5 Sedan for a week to review - painted in the gorgeous Individual Sepia Metallic. This tester came in at $146,225 and well, it’s still a big luxurious beast, just now more comfortable as a daily. We would still appreciate a more pure non PHEV, higher boosted V8 variant though… M Team if you’re listening. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Things we liked:
+It looks purely epic, and everyone who knows can’t resist looking.
+Handling dynamics are impressive, despite any weight claims, it’s sharp, brakes well, and has an impressive damper control variation.
+The PHEV system is like a rocket under the hood, and has genuine EV range

Things we didn’t like:
-It is a tad heavy, noticeable really only in very dynamic situations, making this a wonderful super grand. Tourer
-At low speeds, PHEV transfer to gas from EV can be clunky at times
-Insane amount of drive modes and settings.

ACNCarScore - 8.5/10 - The new M5 may not be as pure as the last generation, but this G90 excels as a high luxury, high performance, somewhat sleeper sedan with incredible versatility in the handling, comfort, and customization options.

TEASED: G-Class Cabriolet 🇩🇪

[9-4-25 /// ] IT RETURNS. Mercedes has teased the return of the iconic G-Class Cabriolet, likely to be the most advanced ever. The last iteration of this wild machine was the Maybach Landaulet, of which just 99 units were made, though that was on the last generation chassis.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Spec Sheet: The new G550 now comes with a 3.0L Turbo inline-6 Mild Hybrid making 443HP and 413 lb-ft of torque with an ISG adding 20HP and 148 lb-ft of torque of boost. This is paired to a 9-Speed auto with wider gear ratios, a 40-60 AWD torque split and 3 mechanical locking diffs with a transfer case.

The G63 carries on with the Twin Turbo 4.0L V8 making 577HP and 627 lb-ft of torque paired to a 48v mild hybrid system.

Now there is a sport+ mode that holds revs, turns on the paddle shifters, and even does some sort of rev matching.. in a CVT. Under the skin is the dual axis strut front suspension from the Civic Type R. There also are adaptive dampers, Type R brakes, and a custom Honda Agile Handling Assist. Inside is very familiar too with a 10.2 inch cluster, 9 in infotainment. The drivers seat is firmer and lower than the passengers for a better position. USA pricing isn’t out just yet but in Japan, it starts at the equivalent of $41,700.

2026 Volvo XC70 VS 2016 XC70 🇸🇪

[8-28-25 /// ] Volvo has revived the XC70 nameplate for the Chinese market, and soon for Europe, costing the equivalent of $62k USD. Once an iconic wagon, the XC70 is now a wicked impressive PHEV SUV, and it looks like a baby EX90 with iconic Thors hammer LED lights, a smooth front facia, flush door handles, and a large glass roof. Though it is around 5.4 inches shorter than a XC90 for comparison. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It uses a new transverse mounted 350v Hybrid system made up of a 1.6L Turbo 4-Cylinder and 2 electric motors mated to a CVT. It makes 210HP and 230 lb-ft of torque. The configurator shows the 4 current trims all with the same color options: Bright White, Diamond Black, Hydro Blue, Red Hot, and Silver Zynith. The Overland can option a two tone with a black roof. Cherokee, Laredo, Limited trims get 18 inch machine face painted wheels while Overland gets 20inches. Cherokee & Laredo trims get cloth seats while Limited & Overland get Leatherette. To even consider the Tech Group, a $1,295 option, you have to start at a Limited, and it gets you A LOT. Overland unlocks the Advanced Pro Tech Group as well.
