The even cooler K4 Hatchback, officially launching In the USA, starts at just $24,890 before shipping charges. Porsche Has Restored a Carrera GT 🇩🇪

[12-18-25 /// ] Porsche Sonderwunsch strikes again, now with a wild Carrera GT restoration. Porsche says this example has been restored to a like factory new condition under the recommission program. This Carrera GT was stripped down to the chassis and rebuilt. The owner also had it repainted in a 1970s LeMans livery of the wining 917 race car. The entire exterior was hand painted too and is wrapped in paint protection film as it will be driven alot. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

At a comparable price, $42k as tested, to a CX-50 Turbo Meridian, CR-V Trailsport, or Forester Wilderness, the Kia offers a tech loaded experience (Digital keys, smart radar cruise, OTA updates…etc), comfort features like cooled seats, and new all-terrain drive modes (Sport, snow, mud, and sand). It’s biggest fault? The X-Pro package only can be had with the unenthusiastic 2.5L Inline-4. A Turbo or Hybrid offering would be welcome, considering the 256HP CX-50 Turbo Meridian costs the same and offers similar MPGs. Overall, the 2026 update is surely an improvement and worth a look.

BREAKING: Gordon Wagener Leaving Mercedes🇩🇪

Wagener has been in charge of the brand’s global design since 2008, and while some more recent designs proved controversial, his team was responsible for Mercedes icons. Some of his early work includes the SLR McLaren, R Class, ML, GL and all of Mercedes passenger vehicles of the early 2000s. In the 2010s, some of his best projects was the CLS, W222 S-Class, AMG GT, SLS, G wagon and others just to name a few.

Who will take his reign? Well that would be AMGs current head of design, Bastian Baudy, assuming the global head of design position in February 2026. And at that, a new era of Mercedes will take form.

BREAKING: Jaguar Type 00 Prototype 🇬🇧

[12-17-25 /// ] The Type 00 Concept is fully making it to production as a ultra luxury 4-Door GT with over 1,000HP, 500miles of WLTP range, 3 motors, and true concept car looks. An SUV and Coupe are on the way too. And guess what, it’s epic. Jaguar is proud to make this prototype one of the best riding cars in the world, with a new 3-chamber air suspension and other secret tech under the skin combined with the extremly stiff chassis thanks to the JEA (Jaguar electric architecture).

⚡️ Spec Sheet: It can also charge up to 200 miles in just 15 min with its around 120kWh battery and around 400kW DC Charging. Cool right? But it gets better. The Tri Motor setup means 900HP is going to the rear wheels, with the other 100-200HP or so being up front. So yeah… it can drift. This als will be made possible with a rear torque vectoring system and rear wheel steering. Not to mention the chief engineer, Matt Becker, previously worked on the DBX and many Lotus sport cars. ⚡️

The real special treat, now with lots of camouflage peels back, it is looks just as wild as the concept. From the low, sloping roofline to the long gangster like hood, slim LED lights, dual charge doors and colossal 23in wheels, this Jag means business. Passengers sit LOW in the car with a high belt line. And this beast is focused purely on ultimate luxury, claiming it will be conversation quite well up to 150MPH. Pricing, once on sale likely late 2026, will be in the $130k range. But it aims to offer a Rolls Royce / Bentley level of experience for $100k-$200k less. Stay tuned.

Lexus LFA Concept VS GR GT 🇯🇵

Well discuss how the GR GT is set to be sold in Lexus dealers in the USA in another post, but the GR GT is borderline production ready. The center of gravity? Super low, down to your knees. The ground up new GR GT uses an all aluminum frame, the first for Toyota, and some body panels are from Carbon Fiber reinforced plastic. The brakes? Carbon ceramics. Rubber? Pilot Sport Cup 2.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🏁 Spec Sheet: Under the hood of the GR GT is a front mid mounted, dry sump, twin turbo V8 making at a minimum 640HP and 627 lb-ft of torque along with a 8-Speed rear transaxle that joins an eMotor. The target curb weight is 3,858lbs or even less. It’s also just 47in tall, shorter even than a C8 Corvette or 911. It has a top speed north of 200MPH and a 0-60 well under 4 seconds. Do we wish it had that V8 too? Yes. But hopefully it will be an enjoyable EV super GT, a space the Maserati Gran Turismo Folgore currently owns.

BMW and Porsche Price Increases 🇩🇪

[7-14-25 /// ] Tariffs are coming in FULL force now as major brand across the board are raising prices. BMW has announced a whole host of models will raise prices by January 1, 2026. This includes the 2 Series gran Coupe, X1, X2, and X3 with a $400 bump. Porsche also has announced even more price increases after already raising 911 Prices earlier this year. While they aren’t doing a full breakdown just yet, the increases come starting January 2, 2026. Overall, prices at Porsche should see an increase from 1.2-2.9%. The company is facing nearly a $1billion loss due to the USA tariffs as are many other automakers.

Mercedes Tomorrow XX Technology 🇩🇪

The headline bit will be new reparable headlights, using screws once again, instead of glue or adhesive to reduce bits being thrown out. This also will slash repair costs outside the USA as our wonderful country bans replaceable headlight lenses. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

But this gets deeper. New inside door panels are under works to replace welding with thermoplastic rivets which can be easier to recycle. The door pockets also can be made from recycled PET, cutting weight too by 40%. Recycled airbag derived engine mounts are under development, as well as recycled tires for sound insulation, repurposed plastics for synthetic leathers, and more. The new CLA already has a 100% recycled windshield washer tank, and 25% recycled bumpers. And in the future, the side wall of the chassis could be made up of 86% recycled metal.

Subaru Uncharted Priced: $34,995 🇯🇵

This makes it a truly affordable new EV, as long as you opt for the uncharacteristically Subaru FWD base model.
