OFFICIAL: China’s AUDI E SUV Concept⚡️

[11-22-25 /// ] Meet the new AUDI E SUV concept, the big brother to the new AUDI E5 in China… but remember this isn’t an “Audi”. This is an all new brand for the Chinese market aimed to be more tuned to local buyers. This new joint venture ditches the 4 rings for a bold AUDI badge. The joint venture is between Audi AG and Chinese SAIC, led by Fermín Soneira, formerly Audi AG’s Head of EVs. The SUV concept features a similar design to the E5, and likely will follow on the interior too. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

🏁 Spec Sheet: The AUDI E5 sportback rides on a unique platform called Advanced Digitized Platform by Audi & SAIC. The E SUV will also follow suit. It uses 2 motors to make up to 764HP and 590 lb-ft of torque, 0-60 under 3.6 seconds and a 100kWh battery with 800v. It starts at 295HP, then 402HP, and also 570HP in RWD or Quattro AWD. All use a 100kWh battery with an 800v system. 🏁

On the overly optimistic Chinese range estimate cycle, they claim 478 miles for the E5… but we all know that number is not very real world. Audi also is showing off the China specific A6L e-tron sportback, with a unique facia, wheels and long wheelbase.

The latest kit, which will even be offered at USA Porsche dealers, drops the Nurburgring lap time by 2.76 seconds vs the 992.1 monthly kit, and increases downforce by 1,190lbs… all without any engine modifications. The new time is 6:52.981. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

🏁 Spec Sheet: Powering the GT3 is the delicious n/a 4.0L Flat-6 with a high redline, 6 throttle bodies, and around 510HP through either an 7 speed PDK or 6-speed manual gearbox on offer with a 9k RPM redline. US models appear to not have the annoying particulate filters as well. 0-60 happens around 3.2sec with a 197MPH TopSpeed. 🏁

Porsche and Manthey worked hand in hand on this package too. The normal 911 GT3 makes around 782lbs of downforce for example. These upgrades are thanks to carbon rear wheel covers, a new front aero canard set, a new splitter, and a colossal carbon wing. There also are new side skirts and carbon rear diffuser. Under the car, the aero vanes are 39in longer too and 4-way adjustable coil overs increase stiffness. There even are forged wheels. No pricing on the kit is out… but it won’t come cheap.

🏁 Spec Sheet: As we have official specs now, the new Telluride gets a 3in longer wheelbase with up to 9.1in of ground clearance on the X-Pro.

The first engine is a 2.5L Turbo 4-cylinder making 274HP and 311 lb-ft of torque to the front or all four wheels via an 8-Speed auto. X-Pro models get a eLSD and a center diff lock. It can tow 5,000lbs.

Then comes a new 2.5L Turbo Hybrid, adding a 1.65kWh battery and eMotors to make 329HP and 339 lb-ft of torque. MPG is estimated to be 35MPG combined with a 600mile driving range. This is paired to a 6-speed auto to FWD or AWD. It can tow 4,500lbs🏁

[11-21-25 /// ] Porsche has revealed the first ever Cayenne EV despite backtracking on previous EV plans. And it is priced like a flagship. It’s offered in 2 trims at launch, Cayenne EV ($109,000) and Cayenne Turbo EV ($163,000). As the configurator is live, we configured a Turbo to a whopping $218,390… and it can get even more expensive. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🏁 Spec Sheet: Cayenne EV rides on the PPE platform. The Standard Cayenne EV gets 402HP, 435HP in launch mode, and 615 lb-ft of torque with dual motor AWD. The Cayenne Turbo EV gets 844HP or 1,139HP and 1,106 lb-ft of torque in launch mode. 0-60MPH happens under 2.4 seconds with a 1/4 mile in 9.9 seconds. Or the black LED light for $600. Porsche crests on the seats are $630 and the colored sport chrono clock at $660… and $490 porsche crest armrest. Then comes the $1,330 rear steer, $7,650 Porsche active ride, $10,710 ceramic brakes, $2,850 AR HUD, $680 3D surround park assist, $6,010 Burmester 3D audio…

So… how was it?⠀⠀

If the Lucid Air Pure was zapped of its driving enjoyment, motor whine, and shrunken down a bit, the A6 eTron fits that space. The interior is shocking, yet very easy to operate. The materials are indeed not as posh as previous Audi’s, but the brand is working on that. The AR HUD is wild, yet distracting at times, the passenger screen actually has function, though the loss of the configurable cockpit is noted. The A6 charges very quick, glides on a cloud, and is so isolated form reality, you may forget you’re driving. It’s a fantastic first step, but I want to see what else they can do.

While it’s just a concept for now, it seems to run and drive, and a V8 likely is out back. The design is bold, long hood, coach style doors, pixel LED lights, it’s very Hyundai, and very cool. We have 35in off road rubber, accessory lights, skid plates, tow hooks and more too. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Somehow the interior is even more nuts. The dash… or giant cylinder, is glowing, looks to be floating, and integrates the sporty steering wheel, mini displays, and a bold new seat design with a racing harness. Hyundai loves their curved interior surfaces, and that’s no exception here. Look closer inside and we see some hits of real off road chops too from locking diffs, and low range. Sure, Hyundai says the Crater isn’t set for production…. But we think otherwise, just under a different name.

Meet the 2027 GV60 Magma, near identical to the concept car and yes, it’s an EV that we have sort of seen before. Visually, we have an aggressive front facia, new aero bits, a rear wing, forged wheels, wider fenders and a bold orange paint. But this car is about wild tech and software to extract performance. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

🏁 Spec Sheet: It uses 2 eMotors, 222HP up front and 378HP out back for a combined up to 640HP and 583 lb-ft of torque In Boost Mode. The near 700v 84kWh battery pack can charge from 10-80% in 18min. 0-60MPH happens under 3.4 seconds, 10.9 sec to 125MPH and it weighs 4,938lbs. It also has a 164MPH TopSpeed.

Range figurers aren’t out, but it likely will be in the 220miles area. There is a new High Performance Battery control mode to extend the thermal endurance of the pack. 🏁

There also is a Mama Mode for more aggressive track driving. Inside is a gorgeous space, covered in microsuede too with dark trim. Genesis also has focused on luxing up the cabin even more with active noise cancellation, door sealing, and sound insulating glass.

The most powerful Porsche ever will first be offered in a base and Turbo variant with a coupe and more models to come. Styling wise, it looks like a Macan EV and a Cayenne (gas) had a child, it’s smooth, and very Porsche. It also has a slick .25 drag coefficient and lots of active aero. Diving in deeper, we get a 14.25inch OLED digital cluster inside, a wild 87inch, yes 87inch, AR HUD, and a 14.9in passenger display in addition to the main infotainment unit. It will arrive on sale by Summer 2026 starting at $111,350.

So… how was it?⠀⠀

If the Lucid Air Pure was zapped of its driving enjoyment, motor whine, and shrunken down a bit, the A6 Tron fits that space. The interior is shocking, yet very easy to operate. The materials are indeed not as posh as previous Audi’s, but the brand is working on that. The AR HUD is wild, yet distracting at times, the passenger screen actually has function, though the loss of the configurable cockpit is noted. The A6 charges very quick, glides on a cloud, and is so isolated form reality, you may forget you’re driving. It’s a fantastic first step, but I want to see what else they can do.

Is $42k Too Much For The 2026 Honda Prelude?

[11–19-25 /// /// Image by: Honda ] The full production Honda Prelude is arriving in the states at a whopping $42k, is it too much? And before we start, it’s not a sports car, Honda calls it a grand tourer. It makes that possible with 2+2 seating, a 15.1 cu ft rear trunk, bigger than a Civic sedan, and more. With destination though, it starts at $43,195. This is just $2k cheaper than a Civic Type-R, and $970 cheaper than a Nissan Z. Cheaper Japanese coupes also include the $30k GR86 or BRZ, and even a Mustang EcoBoost at around $32k. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

🏁 Spec Sheet: The Preludes shares bones with the Civic, and uses a 2.0L n/a 4 cylinder making 141HP and 134 lb-ft of torque. Then comes an eMotor making 181HP and 232 lb-ft of torque for a combined 200HP and 232 lb-ft of torque. And yes, this is paired to a eTransmission with no gears, not quite exactly a CVT thought… It should get around 44MPG combined and 46MPG highway. 🏁

A comparable powertrain sibling, the Civic Hybrid, costs around $29k, going up to $32k. Now the Prelude does have a sport+ mode that holds revs, turns on the paddle shifters, and even does some sort of rev matching. Under the skin is the dual axis strut front suspension from the Civic Type R. There also are adaptive dampers, Type R brakes, and a custom Honda Agile Handling Assist. Inside is very familiar too with a 10.2 inch cluster, 9 in infotainment. The drivers seat is firmer and lower than the passengers for a better position.
