2027 BMW X5 M Performance Parts 🇩🇪

2027 BMW X5 (G65):
-USA X5 will start with the X5 40 using an updated B58 MHEV Turbo 3.0L Inline-6 making 400HP and 428 lb-ft of torque. An X5 50e and X5 M60e also are coming with a 26.5kWh battery and 489HP or 612HP. Diesel will be offered outside the USA.

Then comes the iX5 60 with a 800v 142kWh battery, 578HP an 593 lb-ft of torque and 525miles of WLTP rated range. It also has 460kW DC Fast Charging. A iX5 Hydrogen is on its way for 2028.

The WILD Ferrari 296 GT Modificata 🇮🇹

This is a track only special based on the 296 GT3 Evo, though this onscreen isn’t tied to racing restrictions. It’s so much quicker, that it ran the Fiorano circuit 3seconds faster than the GT3. ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

🏁 Spec Sheet: The 2.9L (2992cc so sort of a 3.0L) Twin Turbo V6 is now making 720HP and 590 lb-ft of torque thanks to new turbos, intercoolers, cams, induction and more🏁 There even is a new fuel system.

Volkswagen Mission Efficiency Concept ⚡️

Well the brand is bringing the teardrop idea back with the Mission Efficiency concept with an inane 0.158 Drag Coefficient. This 2+2 traveled over 400 miles on just a 54.9kWh battery. It draws it’s teardrop shape form the ZL1 And is made from carbon fiber with skinny 155 section width tires. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

🏁 Spec Sheet: concept rides on the new MEB+ architecture and uses a 133HP front eMotor with 0-60 in around 9 seconds. Essentially, it’s an ID Polo underneath. The Polo is actually much taller and shorter. It also uses a 370W photovoltaic panel which can gain around 18.6 miles in perfect sunlight. 🏁

Spec Sheet: Under the skin is an all new wiring/electrical architecture from the unrelated Neue Klasse platform with 20x more processing power, a zonal wiring system saving 2,000ft of lines too. The i7 gains 20% more energy dense battery with a 112.5kWh pack, 250kW DC Fast Charging and a NACS port. The i7 60 xDrive makes 536HP with over 350 miles of range. ($126,250). The i7 50xDrive makes 449HP at $107k.

The 740 and 740 xDrive gain an updated B58 inline-6 for 394HP at $101,350. The 750e xDrive comes in 2027 with 483HP combined. A V8 is coming soon.

Bovensiepen Spider: The “Alpina” BMW Z4

While the BMW Z4 ended production on May, Bovensiepen is offering 99 customers the option to spruce up the roadster as the “Spider,” the brands 3rd product. If you didn’t know, the Bovensiepen family founded Alpina originally. 2026 Lexus GX550 Luxury+ Every Fearure!

With 22in wheels, an electrochroamatic glass roof, massaging front seats, premium leather & wood, 21 speaker Mark Levinson audio system, and power running boards, the most “off-road” this style of GX likely will see is a curb in a parking lot. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

How was it?
We love the GX’s looks - boxy, bold, and distinctive. Even with the luxury bits, the GX Luxury+ also retains its off road bones with a proper 4WD system, ladder frame chassis, and imposing driving position. We were not impressed with the ride, especially on 22in wheels. The BOF chassis, solid rear axle & these large wheels meant feeling bumps and uneven pavement became a common occurrence in the cabin. It’s also rather small inside, with a tight third and second row. While the TT V6 packs a punch, the fuel economy and fuel range were less to be desired. The interior also could’ve been a bit more nicely appointed with more trim, less giant screen, and a styled dash like the last generation GX.
