Loved shooting this music video with @nickdeutschmusic , featuring the choreo and talents of @audrabryant and @mattyluvs - this was also one of the first things we got to do after the world had come to a screeching halt - and having that opportunity to stretch artistically was SO important

I am super proud of this one.

#prideacinematicconcert is something I created with a slew of real, make-it-happen New York performers. They brought their art, trusted me capture it - and together we made this.

This short film / digital concert is part of @thestagenetwork 's fundraiser and partnership with @bcefa

50% of new member subscription fees ( when you sign up with the link bit.ly/STAGECares ) go to Broadway Cares - now extended through August 16th.

STAGE is a pretty amazing platform for theatre lovers - and for creatives passionate about theatre like us. They've got some good stuff on there, and more on the way.

This was also a total flex in how far I could push the (mostly) one man band production company thing.

I'm pretty sure I'm now ready to make a kick ass feature length movie musical. So get at me.

This piece had such amazing characters to play with!

@dj_lorant created and incredibly intimate, personal but universal story with his tune "The Red Dark", and pulled together the most marvelous cast of characters to bring it to life.

This is @jesseluttrell , doing what he does best.

We rerecorded his vocals in the studio to match his grown up, meatier sound - and then shot this whole music video in a matter of a few hours.

@fredbartonmusic on the keys, and a bunch of oddball pals of ours on the stage. Mix in high frame rates and some reckless Steadicam pulls - and presto! Music video magic.

"Flame of Blue" by Rachel King is about a harrowing journey, and had an incredible journey on its own.

@itsrachelking and I worked on the music for this for a random live stream about two years ago, produced it in two stages over about a year, and she brought it into @danny_shred to bring it to this epic sound.

And the viewpoint of the song grew. So it needed a video to express those new layers.

Rachel and I shot this music video: She produced, and I shot and edited.
That's the whole #wonderteam on this one.

And that's pretty awesome.

The first verse sheds light on King’s own experience getting out of a very toxic marriage with a misogynistic & emotionally abusive man. The second verse expands into the global issues most women, including King, have experienced in a variety of careers and workplaces. Inspired by the #metoo movement, Rachel King decided to share her own stories & speak out against sexual harassment, unequal pay, and for women to no longer be reduced as men’s play things; to no longer be dismissed and dehumanized as merely being pretty little dolls.
