I am so proud of my bestie! You are undoubtedly one of the best and hardest-working people I know, and I can’t wait to see you excel in your future endeavors.

I never imagined writing these words so soon, but after much reflection and soul searching, I have decided to take a step away from the broadcasting industry. Today will be my last day at WAFF 48 News and I hope you can join me for a final farewell.

This comes as a difficult decision because I have wanted to pursue this career for as long as I can remember. However, I feel so unbelievably blessed and grateful that I have been able to fulfill my dream with the support of family, friends, and viewers throughout the years.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the trust, encouragement, and love that you have shown me. It has been an absolute pleasure to serve the Tennessee Valley and I have made memories that will last a lifetime.

As this season comes to a close, I find myself full of gratitude for what has been and what is to come. I could not be more excited for my next opportunity that will allow for equally meaningful work while offering a better balance, so I can truly be present for myself and the ones who matter most.

I plan to share more details in the coming days, so please continue to follow along on my journey.
