Jewish Writers Alliance

Jewish Writers Alliance brings you the Walking Writers event on Sunday, October 16th. The event will feature Matthue Roth, author of “Never Mind the Goldbergs” and “Yom Kippur A Go-Go,” and other books.

Where: We will meet promptly on the steps of the main entrance of the Brooklyn Public Library at 10 Grand Army Plaza, and will visit the literary hotspots of Crown Heights. If you can't find us, just look for Matthue. He's the guy in the "Where The Wild Things Are" t-shirt, big, flailing peyos and all.

This is the inaugural event for the Jewish Writers Alliance Let's make it great..

RSVP by posting on our page!
Yes replies only. We encourage you to post an RSVP in the form of a poem, sonnet, or your preferred literary form. On Thursday, our favorite comments will win a signed copy of the Matthue Roth book of their choice.

Mogwai - My Father My King - Avinu Malkeinu - Israel Beat - Ben Bresky - Blogs - Israel National New

2) 60s psychedelic group The Electric Prunes (fronted by David Axelrod) have an entire album of high holidays music
3) Leonard Cohen performs "Who By Fire"
4) Herbie Hancock recorded a Jewish album in 1968:

20 minutes of droning, trance-inducing guitar distortion should put you in the Rosh HaShanah spirit. Special thanks to the Teruah Jewish music blog for
