I’m genuinely heartbroken today. 💔
Catherine O’Hara has always felt like more than an actress to me. She felt like comfort. Like laughter that showed up right when you needed it.
From Schitt’s Creek giving us Moira Rose, a character so dramatic, loving, ridiculous, and iconic that she became therapy in a wig… to Home Alone, where she gave us a mom who loved fiercely and panicked loudly and reminded us what devotion looks like.
She didn’t just play roles. She made homes in them.
Homes we escaped to. Homes that made us laugh through hard seasons.
If you’re heartbroken , you’re not being dramatic. You’re human. Because her work wrapped around so many of our lives, our holidays, our comfort shows, our bad days turned lighter.
Thank you, Catherine, for the laughter, the heart, the chaos, the warmth.
Thank you for being part of my joy.
Forever a legend. Forever loved. 💛
