I spent the day today on the Universal Studio Backlots at the Cine Gear Expo. So many toys I'd love to get my hands on! Most people I spoke with said they weren't buying gear right now. Everyone seems worried about AI and the future of the movie and TV industries.

You may recognize some of these locations including the courthouse from Back to the Future.

About a week ago this family had a couple of drones hit in their back yard. We spoke with the woman who lived there. Her face is still bruised from the explosion, but unfortunately her husband was in the yard and is struggling to stay alive with burns on 85% of his body. Her job was to gather milk from the farms and deliver it to people in the town. The car she used as a milk lady was launched into the garden and burned completely. War sucks! 🤬

We’re heading back to Ukraine tomorrow to do a few interviews and get some pick up shots that I didn’t have time for on my last trip. We fly to Warsaw Poland tomorrow and then take an 18 hour train ride to Kyiv. We will have a car and be driving all around Ukraine (which is a huge country!). I’ll post some pictures along the way. Wish us luck!🍀

I had the honor of meeting former President Jimmy Carter 3 times. Once, when I was working for Walter Cronkite, once, when I did a segment about Habitat for Humanity and once, (pictured below) randomly on an airplane. He came down the aisle and shook hands with anyone who wanted. He was a genuinely a good man and had the morals and class that we used to demand in a president. How far we have fallen.
