Despite the recent peace agreement signed between Cambodia and Thailand under international witnesses, including President Donald Trump, Thailand has violated the accord.

Today, Thai soldiers opened fire on Cambodian civilians in Prey Chan village, injuring three innocent people and killed one civilian. This act is a direct breach of the spirit and letter of the peace agreement.

Cambodia stands unwaveringly on the side of peace. We honor our commitments, uphold the agreement, and call for immediate accountability. Violence against civilians cannot be tolerated.

Thailand's release of two Cambodian soldiers—one with broken legs, another with mental trauma—is not enough. Detaining 16 others for interrogation violates international law and the ceasefire. The world must condemn this injustice and demand their immediate release. Thailand's actions undermine peace!
