i didn't expect to find in a seven year old that i watched for the first time last night. regardless, the recommendation to watch High School Prodigies Have It Easy Even In Another World (they don't, actually) was valid. I'm only on the fifth episode, but i'm loving it so far.

don't care about the people, they care about themselves and their deep-pocketed masters who keep a short leash on all of them. young people are tired of their bu****it, tired of the talking heads who get nothing done, tired of the lies, the complacency, corruption, and the enabling of fascism in the United States. the only thing corporate democrats are good is talking, and if they can't get s**t done, then they need to s**u. if the old guard continues to do nothing, they need to get tf out of the way and let the young take control of their futures. when you threaten , you're threatening them. and that makes you a despicable lame.

I always considered electronic music to be the perfect vehicle for subversive social and political commentary, but I wasn’t ready for the coded cuteness that is cUTEbRUTE. The sound doesn’t take away from the subject matter, instead, it makes it stand out.

Stumbled upon a little music history I don't know until today.

The woman many consider the Godmother of Grunge (or Queen of Grunge), Tina Bell, died on the 10th of October 2012. The band she fronted was called Bam Bam, their drummer was pre Soundgarden and Peal Jam drummer Matt Cameron. Prior to Nirvana, Kurt Cobain was the band's roadie.

For the first time, I'm listening to their music, the Free Fall From Space EP. It is unpolished and raw af, but powerful and enjoyable. It's a damn shame she's not acknowledged in the annals of grunge history, but some of us will remember her and Bam Bam forever. 🤘🏽
