Last weekend our Creative Director & Partner, Pedro Botsaris, had the pleasure of speaking at Artcor the first creative hub in Moldova alongside Constantin Şarcov and Olga Radu. Artcor aims to gather and develop the creative industry community in Moldova.

Pedro spoke about why we do what we do at Antfood Music & Sound Design, how promoting collaboration and nurturing a community helped us find our space in our industry, and how this approach could be relevant to the Moldavian creative industry as it grows and flourishes.

Hacking Google: Series Trailer

Over the past 9 months, we worked with Google’s Creative Lab to develop the sound of Hacking Google: a six-part series of never-before-told stories delving into the work of Google’s 5 elite security teams and how they keep us safe online.

Working across our 3 studios in New York, Amsterdam and São Paulo, we composed an original score, bending the "hacking" genre, by employing a range of styles - from modern orchestral to cinematic synthscapes and even an Etta James cover. We designed a unique sonic language for the cyber world and even integrated a challenging audio game into our score to lead viewers down a rabbit hole of puzzles.

We developed mnemonics for Sesame Street and Sesame Workshop. Sesame Workshop is a nonprofit educational organisation that brought the world Sesame Street. They are the largest informal educator of children on Earth and continue to expand and educate, as well as spearhead social impact initiatives across the world.

Working closely with Trollbäck+Company, we aimed to celebrate the Sesame Street legacy, whilst giving space for the organisations to develop and grow.

We partnered with one of our favourite collaborators, Tom C J Brown, to create the sonic world for his animated film, Christopher At Sea. We teamed up with Adobe and DentsuACHTUNG! to celebrate David Bowie’s 75th birthday and Ziggy Stardust’s 50th anniversary. In addition to scoring the launch film for an Adobe toolkit highlighting Bowie’s lasting impact on creativity and self-expression, we collaborated with digital experience agency Resn to produce an immersive, virtual gaming experience taking you back to where it all began – the dressing room where Bowie first became Ziggy.
